The Cars That Ate Paris, Stone, and Mad Max are in my collection. However, I don't recall seeing Oz, or FJ Holden. I'll have to try and hunt those down. Oz looks like a bit of an Aussie cringeworthy romp.
@@70sSciFi I will. I do like an Aussie movie so bad that it is good. 'Running On Empty' was one I can recall. A mate and I watched it a few times on VHS to drool over the cars around 1985. He was a tappet head and owned an HK Monaro with a 350 and a 2-speed drag box. I liked it for Max Cullen's brilliantly hammed-up role as the blind bloke.
@@70sSciFi I missed a lot of these, I think. I was travelling a lot back then. I've just started to watch Midnite Spares and it looks like it'll be awesome.

OZ is super cringeworthy but good for a laugh, definitely worth a look.

@@BradGryphonn Awesome, there's a decent copy on youtube of "Midnite Spares" 1983. Classic Australian car movie.

@@70sSciFi How did I miss this? An all-star cast and memories of when I used to go to the speedway at the Brisbane Ekka grounds in the 70s.
