- Talk's Julia Hartley-Brewer clashes with Labour List editor Tom Belger over Kemi Badenoch.
Kemi Badenoch and Robert Jenrick will start making their pitch to Conservative Party members on Thursday, as they go head to head in the contest to succeed Rishi Sunak as Tory leader.
James Cleverly was unexpectedly knocked out of the competition on Wednesday, having been the bookmakers’ favourite after the previous round of voting.
Julia: "What's she said, that's offensive?"
Tom: "There was one about, uh, maternity pay".

This sums up the Labour supporters in one!
Dawn Butler has actually spouted very offensive anti white bigotry more than once , but let’s have a go at Kemi over a reasonable comment about maternity pay
😂 I know it was an outrageous clip declaring black supremacy describing whites as the wrong people. Really, she should be prosecuted for race hate crimes.
This chap has nothing to offer. So why give him a platform.
to make him look stupid? If all news channels used him it would do immeasurable harm to Labour. He's obviously not used to people challenging him as he writes all his nonsense to the converted.
He seems a perfectly normal member of the labour party tbf, absolutely no clue, if kemi is that useless then he should be well pleased, I'd vote for her, ask him about dawn butler she's a keen racist
Free speech. And also he is his own worst enemy 😂
You know his views by looking at him weak man
he said there was a long list, then struggles to think of one.
Total prat.
@@collier8931100% Spot most if not all of Labour supporters can be listed as such.
😂😂😂😂😂
What a melt
No he doesn't understand the concept. Whenever he hears something he does not like it's 'offensive', not something that he disagrees with.
The Tories are the last of Labours problems, it's reform they need to be worried about, because with the way labour is going they are the gift that keeps on giving, and if they keep it up reform will be the next government.
Can only pray for a general election before 2029 to get reform in quicker
@@alexx_Tomorrow would be just fine, for most of us sane people.
I'm offended by liarbour.
''There is a lot of this and a lot of that but please do not challenge me to give examples'' '' I just like to make lots of unfounded noise!''
I find labour offensive to old age pensioners
A list of offensive things of which he can’t recall a single one. What an absolute melt. What about Butler and her racist commentary. She’s black though and it’s directed at whitey so it’s fine.
Poor little Labour boy again, grow up mate. Has he ever worked in industry yet, sounds like listening to a small, spoiled child.
Rayner will screw up small employers.
Offence is taken not given !!
We have the right to just leave a job done it plenty of times 😊 don’t see why bosses can’t just sack you if your lazy or incompetent also 😊
LURKING WITH INTENT TO BE OFFENDED SHOULD BE A CRIME.
😂 I'm using that in the future.
Rosie Duffield: “The sleaze, nepotism and apparent avarice [within the Labour party] are off the scale.”
More to follow...
This guy is completely delusional, it's hilarious.
Kemi gets my vote. The Tories would get nowhere by positioning in the centre ground had they have voted Cleverly.
We are governed by people that resemble parodies of what people thought they were. Incredible.
Just confirmed that Kemi is definitely the right person
I’m offended by Labour throwing Pensioners to the dogs this winter. This bloke drivels out a script which he can’t even explain.
A complete wally
If you are good at your job and a hard worker, you will never be without work
Not in woke companies sadly.
@@NPC--666Sorry, I expect boxes have to be ticked
these days, can you tell I am retired? I worked in a sane world
Tom Belger journalist, wet weekend and story teller. Why would you go onto a media platform and make yourself look a total pr1c.
Because he can, doesn't he do a great job at it.
he needs to do some research and get his facts straight before waffling on
She get my vote 🗳️ 💯 % labour of 100% be panicking because she knows the difference between a woman and a man
If your young man had lived like me in the 1970's he'd actually have an idea of what he was talking about. As normal the labour voice is to young to know anything about life in the UK....
Love Julia you made this young chap look like the fool that he is no answers for anything
This is all irrelevant. Never vote Conservative or Labour again.
This new working law, people will be made to go through an agency😊
So Belger says Kemi can link with the voters and that is a danger? Its the complete opposite and what the electorate want.
Legitimately, I love you Julia. You say everything i’m thinking 😂. Thanks for you x
"a long list" and can barely mention on.
What a plonker!
Another Labour 🔔🔚
Such a long list of offensive comments he can’t name one. Typical left wing plonker.
Re-place Plonker with Parasite.
Workers have less protection than decades ago? What is he talking about?
Too many Cleverley supporters trying to get rid of Badenoch knocked out their man.
What a melt!
The wokery-pokery sorcerers leading British Uni’s have a lot to answer for…
Why do these leftie men all look the same 😂
I’m not offended by anything Kemi has said, she has a right to express her opinion.
I think they are scared of Badenoch. She's articulate and has clear ideas," plus she is excellent speaking in parliament.. Not like the technocratic apolitical "be nice" candidate. We've already got the technocratic Steamer, and had it in Sunac. I was a lifelong Labour voter btw before this last election.
We have a lady working at our company who has been moved shifts twice and in the end got sacked but is back after winning a tribunal and now has to work on her own as no one will work with her.
Its not offensive to notice stuff bud.
Another woke melt from Labour. God help this country, they couldnt run a Student Union Raffle without a cup of hot chocolate in a safe space.
The bloke is a 🤡
Was there any of this in the Labour Manifesto ?
More and more employers now use fixed term contracts as a "try before you buy". The downside is that contract staff don't have the same financial security, credit facilities, and spending power as a permanent member of staff, which impacts the economy.
Typical Labour, uses general terminology but lacks any detail
The conventional wisdom is so out of date, not just on elections....on economic policy, on migration policy, on woke nonsense....look at europe, look at what the public think, the only, very slight, threat is to the hegemony of the Liberal elite who ignore the public. Keep pushing Julia.
taylor swift has to pay for that motorcade there is no way she is in any way a vip or deserves that privelage
The women I used to work with called it "maternity beach".
I found his ignorance/misinformation offensive.
Nice catch Julia.
'Offensive'. Entirely subjective!
Hire the 55+! 😂😂😂
I am totally offended by Labour
She is on X formerly known as Twitter today raving about Green tech. That is offensive.
Personally I like straight talking people not the types who spout vacuous word salad and say whatever signals their virtue.
I was for Badenoch until I heard she wasn’t going to leave the ECHR.
But once I've always voted Labour but this government will go too far and business activity will reduce and create more unemployed. In the US, government workers are not allowed to strike and I think on balance we should have a debate if we should have the same restrictions ?
5-00 If you’re a hardworking employee, your bosses would be crazy to let you go. If you’re a lazy trouble-maker, as a boss, you should be allowed to get rid of them without being taken to court. It’s not in the bosses interest to get rid of good workers.
Brewer is a Legend 👍🏻👍🏽👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Tom Belger is offensive
Incredible
This guy is a melt 😅
Labour wants to support business? Where and how are they doing it - they are the same as Rishi and Hunt, anti growth.
He will have his pronouns on his email signature
Why is it titled CLASH lol its just a normal debate
Easily upset
Ttk should have had 9 months probation on his job 😅
This bloke is typical of the young Labourites. Trotting out statements without having any examples to substantiate what he has said. The trouble is with increasing worker's rights is that it reduces the rights of the employer. People who don't perform, don't turn up, and give a dam about the company they work for should be sacked!
Everything that Labour are introducing is putting cost onto business- what a great way to grow the economy???? !
julia doesnt suffer fools
At least the speeding camera works!!
This guy is puddled ,what's offensive is he real or Labour through and through, totally puddled am I being offensive?
Sorry Julia but you’re wrong in this one with regards to workers rights. I was fired from my job after a year and a half after management changed and the new one didn’t like me as I would be honest about issues. I was fired for ‘bullying and harassment’ for sending an email telling him how bad things were, because I called him out for not being in our depot 2 times a week and was agreed when he took the job. The change didn’t even fit the businesses own definition of harassment / bulling in their employee handbook, and I was promised an appeal by HR.
They then ignored me and never did my appeal, I spoke to acas who advised if you are somewhere under 2 years, you have no rights and I couldn’t challenge them, their misinformation and their lies. So yes, if someone doesn’t like you because you don’t kiss the right ass, we are being penalised with no recourse.
Min wage, they passed the cost on hense cost of living.. spanner
Surprised he didn.t blame the far right for being made to look like a typical lefty 🤡
Did this guy have any knowledge on the interview topic 😂😊
If the Commies Preferred Cleverly then the Tories have won the jackpot.. "Offensive " Kemi will be OK.. This New Labour Beta spokescommie could not name one single example
He’s wallpaper offends me.
Talk TV fears Reform UK of Exiting the ECHR in Strasbourg, Germany and by the way i do not care who wins as next tory leader because both of them are just as bad as Labour.
I think the way things are going RJ will be getting my vote, we have to leave the ECHR. Once all the data comes completely out about immigration then the next election will be about immigration and how previous governments have totally cocked it up, and it’s only gonna get worse under Labour. I like KB but she has committed to leaving the ECHR and until we do we’ll never sort out immigration and the criminal gangs fleecing people of their money.
Melt
Maternity and paternity leave is not something that the Government should pay for. It’s the individual choice to have babies but employers shouldn’t have to pay or lose working hours because of it and the government shouldn’t have to pay.
And neither should there be child benefits.
I find the existence of leftists offensive.
soy boy this must be for giggles
Idiot how many workers are in unions in private companies!! And you have to be part of the unions which has gone up
Parties I would have considered voted for, in the correct order, had I been British:
1. Kellie-Jay Keen’s Party of Women!! ❤️❤️❤️🥰
2. Reform.
3. The Tories.
4. Labour.
..And these are only the parties I have (somewhat) researched, btw. There are likely also others, that I know almost zilch about. But if there are worse, more oppressive, more anti free speech, more ignorantly woke parties than Labour..? Goddess have mercy!! What really boggles my mind, especially, is GC women voting for Labour. Please just DON’T. Also, if you like free speech, and you’ve seen through gender ideology, what keeps you from also seeing through the REST of woke? I rest my case. :/
😅😅😅😅
Tories are a huge joke
These people are offended by everything it makes them feel valid in some sad, pathetic way. They need to grow up and realise other people have different opinions than them.
A little labour W⚓ boy that's brainless and makes things up on the go.
