    In the late '90s - early 2000s, I was racing a Tamiya TA02 and a Losi Street Weapon. All the aluminum parts that come with that kit are absolutely necessary when racing (or blasting around). I also installed CVDs all around. The plastic oil shocks work just as good as the Losi aluminum shocks, it's a matter of putting in the laps to figure out what oil works the best. The Tamiya was as fast as the losi (practice and tuning were necessary with both cars) , the Losi was quiet because it's belt driven.

    the closest to the TB02, and it's coming out again, I like the grey oil filled, good comparison, won't miss the upcoming release

    Is everything really included in the TT-02R chassis kit or do you have to buy additional tuning parts? I still see a lot of plastic parts...?

    • @RCeveryday
      @RCeveryday  ปีที่แล้ว

      It just includes the most necessary upgrades like the motor plate, drive shaft and ball bearings.

      i just looked at the box, it has aluminum rear uprights and oil shocks as well. Not a whole lot extra but I got mine for $98 on amazon, the standard tt02 is all plastic with bushings and dummy shocks.@@winnithedevil

    Have you considered using the hex screws that they have for these kits? Im super tempted to buy one just for the build lol

      Ive used those stainless screw kits before on tamiya builds, they are really good quality

    Hey. I really enjoy your Chanel’s. I actually found you looking for Tonka restorations on your other Chanel.
    I’ve been into rc as well just not lately.
    I was curious if you had a spare bed for a truck like the aqua nylint ford you slammed I’m really wanting to build one.

    You should try the tb02 r chassis, not so easy to do and not cheap either.

    I still kinda miss the motor placement of the TT-01, but this looks pretty cool, I'd love to get your opinion on how this performs/drives compared to the 01

    We have a new paved onroad track starting up near me... looking to get a few cars to play with on that track...
    I wish this R chassis was available , I can't find it from places I normally buy stuff...
    I think we are going to start with a couple TT02D kits to at least have bearings and oil shocks for now... and I think the 3rd car we get might be a Kyosho Fazer Mk2 chassis, as they seem to be a great option for cheap fun as well... (myself and 2 kids will be driving them)... if we really get into it, I kinda like the look of the TA08 chassis for something more affordable than Xray, Mugen, or Schumacher...
    Hoping to get a Sport Touring class to start up...using less expensive tub chassis, shaft drive cars like these...
    Let me know if you habe liked this car so far.

      This fazers are a great rtr. I’ve never messed
      With any of the high end X-ray cars. Always been a tamiya fan. Where is there a new on road track?

    what width body shell will go straight on this with the standard wheels? would 190mm be ok? 195mm would look too wide for this wheels/tyres?

    • @RCeveryday
      @RCeveryday  17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      190 would be ideal. 195 you could fit some wider tires and wheels

    Great video, I just bought a used TT02R and was wondering if all TT02 Carbon shock towers fit this kit? Thanks!

    • @RCeveryday
      @RCeveryday  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think they would fit. Haven’t tried it in either of mine but tamiya is pretty consistent with stuff like that. If it fits one it will fit them all.

    What did you need to grind with dremmel rotary tool…?

    • @RCeveryday
      @RCeveryday  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Had to look in the instructions, it calls for trimming 2mm from each steering turnbuckle end to allow clearance for the adjustable center (upgrade blue part) that comes with the R kit.

    😂 just did my first run and it went sideways into my truck tire. 6.5t is a bit much.

    What else is needed to complete this build ? This will be my first rc car. Bought it on a whim. It's on order. I chose the chassis kit #47326

    • @RCeveryday
      @RCeveryday  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Youll need a radio and receiver, battery and servo still. Its a great platform with the right upgrades included.

    • @HairyBikeDada

      @RCeveryday are there any products you would recommend?

    • @RCeveryday
      @RCeveryday  หลายเดือนก่อน

      With electronics, it depends on how into RC you are going to be. Varying costs, if this is all you have a used spektrum RTR radio from one of their kits is a great place to start, can be had cheap on marketplace, ebay, amazon etc. As far as the servo this being an onroad car it doesnt need much, an amazon servo for around $15 will do the trick as well as any brand name stuff. If you think your going to be hooked into the hobby Id spend a little more on a radio that can run more than 1 rig.

    The music confused me for a minute. Ford Era uses the same music all the time, and I was like, wait a minute, what channel am I watching right now? lol
