The clacking of the wooden gears is so satisfying, I love exploring how mechanical things like this work as well, but, being a college student kinda means I don’t have access to any equipment, thanks for letting people like me vicariously experience this sort of stuff!
At 6:44 there is something that caught my eye. Rainbow coloured wood drills. You could do a video about that amazing coloured drill . It’s stunning! I had no idea they came in that!
The rotating base is cool and all, but to add some functionality to it you should redo the base with another gear, that would lead to a vertical shaft with another gear, then leading to a handle on the side that you can crank to move the numbers. Little more cumbersome, but will look neat. Plus who doesn't like more gears? :)
He probably wasn’t planning to drill them and realized that it would be better to drill them if he had to make adjustments. He even said so in the captions.
Un trabajo laborioso y trabajoso. Pero realmente, ¿ para que sirve? No veo objeción ninguna para esto, si sigues con estas cosas me dará de baja de suscrito, saludos.

I love the captions... and the faint clock ticking in the background. 🥰 Masterfully done. Neat to see Matthias’ concepts in new executions.

@@Karaon I don't think so. Looks like they were discolored (intentionally or unintentionally) from heat.

Auriez vous un plan pour essayer d’en fabriquer un? Merci
I love it so much
7:12 I would recommend you to use a clamp at this point for a better grip on the piece.
Исполнение проекта на отлично. Но какое практическое применение этого?
It's a counter! You can count anything with it using the appropriate mechanism.

Looks like you have a harbor freight near by. ;)
面白いですが、何に使うものですか?
Nice

Have been waiting to see a specific application for the those odd design decisions. Didn't see any 😟
Did you just invent a frictionless Geneva mechanism
👍👍👍👍👍👏
I love your work. It is Precision craftsmanship at its best! I have a paid project for you. How can I contact you?

4:16 DoH! if you were planning to drill them all along, why bother with all the elaborate band-saw work and sanding?

Did you even read the description? He provides a template and explains how he designed it.
