Wow , hundreds of videos released in 2 days from media, streamers and TH-camrs, all saying the same 5 tips like they were the Messiah and no one mentioned any of that. Thank you ! One of the very few useful videos about this game.

@@BoomstickGaming Titanfall is one of those games I never got around to playing. Can't wait to try it out, and then I heard this game was made by the creators of Titanfall so I decided not to instantly write it off haha. I'm thankful for your video.
Considering the fact that this game kind of came out of nowhere, appearing to be just another tiresome free-to-play, it's really amazing how much Apex gets right. It flows smooth as butter, and just nails the Battle Royal genre perfectly. How's the combat? Fantastic! Traversal, music, sound, online server stability? It's all great! Everything just works! So unexpected these days.
It was made by Respawn Entertainment, the creators of extremely good Titanfall 2, which is one of my all time favourites. Most of the videos you find are basically just filled to be drawn out to get to the 10 min mark, saying the most obvious things. Most people looking at the videos have already played a BR game, we don't need to know that the circle hurts you. You actually showed game mechanics that I was not aware of, and for that I thank you!
I disagree. If they increase the range much more, players who are skilled with it and have been using it in TF2 will be able to cross huge areas wayyy to quickly and in isolation from their teammates. Genuinely, if you increased it, a skilled player would be able to grapple from one end of bridges (towards bunker), to the other side (closer to Hydro Dam) with a single grapple and slide hop. People don’t know how to use it effectively at the moment because they don’t know the mechanics. I agree maybe an indicator to tell you the point you’re trying to aim the grapple at is in range is necessary but people are already doing some funky things with the grapple... extending it will only call for it to be nerfed.
UselessDood it really doesn’t. The ranges and the speed you can achieve with it when you use it correctly are incredibly powerful in fights, especially when you look at the context of the game.. the size and features of the map I strongly urge anyone who believes it does need a range buff to look at tutorials and stuff on how to use and arc them most efficiently... because of how they are now with the speed and mobility they can provide if you have a grasp of the mechanics, you are insanely strong.
First video of this game with tips and tricks that I didn’t know about. Thank you. Every other video had content in it that I had already learned about.
I never played titan fall and this is hands down the best fun new fresh shooting game I’ve played since overwatch, and the best battle royal game I’ve played, I felt completely immersed in the gameplay and it’s silky smooth, I’m hoping sometime they make some sort of story mode in a form of episodes maybe covering different legends if that’s possible! Yup, addicted to this game
This is the best tips video I've seen yet for Apex and I've tried watching alot.. Everything else I've seen has been click bait painfully obvious stuff that the game makes pretty clear. Your video on the other hand has legs. Great job.
Great video, thank you, learned many good tips. Just quickly though - regarding primed grenades etc, rather than pressing holster, scroll mouse wheel (obv PC tip) to your desired weapon instead, animation is shorter and you’ll be weapons up much faster 👌🏻 loving this game! Thanks for the content!
a lot of these tricks actually carries over from titanfall 2, like the slide speed boost. In Titanfall 2 multiplayer, you'll often see people spamming slide, jump, slide, jump over and over to chain into fast movement. kinda like bunny hopping it allows you to generate, and maintain your momentum.
@@SomethingDangerous1 I think removing stuff like that is a really bad idea, if it takes huge amounts of skill to bunny hop around, then surely if you're willing to put the time into mastering that method of movement, and cultivating that skill, you deserve the increased movement capabilities. Like rocket jumping or bunny hopping in quake, it just adds an extra level of depth in my opinion, intended or no.
All the videos I've seen don't mention that wile you're dropping into the map and are starting to lose speed and altitude, you can gain back momentum by going straight down for a second and back up to gain a larger distance towards further away places. I know it's obvious how this works but a lot of people don't seem to know.
Here's a tip you can try. If you you are jumping over a railing, consider instead jumping onto it and holding your slide. The railing counts as a huge slope so you get a huge boost in speed, this can work on really anything jagged
Great tips! Thank you for also creating this video as quickly as possible after the release. I am sure that this will be one of the top guides to refer back to.
great video.. i actually learned a few things.. i liked the ammo/gun indicator i was picking up the wrong ammo alot.. i will be more aware of the wall climb and trying to master it. I also didnt know about the long jump by sliding before the jump.. will also try to master that.. it seems like that is low key one of the best tips/tricks in the game
i never played titanfall on PC but instantly figured out the slingshot mechanic and the rest of these mechanics just came naturally being a big fan of the first 2 titanfall games.
lol, lvl10 with 6 kills total, imnot addicted, i just refuse to believe how hard it is to play this well....:) team budds dying and leaving, too many deaths w/o finding a weapon, making many matches a waste of time...:(

That is interesting, didn't know about most of these, like extended jump or extended slides. Probably something to add is to listen to Wraith sometimes, as her passive ability can tell if enemies are near by, or if enemy sees you or have you in their sight, so it's not just random comms except an actual ability many might not have realized. If she senses something it's a good idea to tell Bloodhound to scan the area.

The “G-slide” from black ops 3, where you slide off of an object like a house or box, works in this game really well, it brings your slide momentum to the maximum speed and can be faster than the slope that the boxes or houses are on

Hey do you think you can make a wall kick tutorial that would be great because not many people know how to do it.
The best feature of this game is...
No one can build a damn house if you shoot them.
Definitely takes a lot more skill and cover usage.
Let’s hope they won’t migrate to apex legend from Fortnite
Literally the best feature is the game not having that damn feature!

Thats how I do things here. I go out of my way, for better or for worse, to not do the "norm".
agreed some "advance" tips were as dumb as pick the correct ammo
They hyped the game by not hyping it. This is trully astounding marketing. Never seen anything like it.

And "work as a team" is always there
Yeah, always.
But it still adds nothing tho. I'm here waiting for some game breaking mechanic to make this game more fast paced and still nothing

Thanks for the tips. Some of these tips were carried over from Titianfall 2 so it’s nice that it has some form of it. Keep doing what ur doing!
I didn’t know about the slide punch, thank you
Sliding down hills in this game reminds me of tribes ascend.
Felt the exact same way. Good call.
Same
The fast pace gameplay has almost the exact feel as tribes and I love it so much
Haven’t heard about that game since like, 2016... memories

Good to see respawn left a fair bit of nuance in the movement system.

Daniel LLITPEK you could in tf1 it was really trash tho you wouldn’t really peak it was very small
What do you mean by peek?
This... This IS it chief. The future of your channel starts now.
Moving around in this game looks like a lot of fun.
It’s is go play it while people are still newbs it’s free
played some, loved it, but darn it is hard getting used to the controls...:) no headset, pinging with a mouse...lol
mario van dijk wdym by no headset?
