Brother calcium hydroxide resolves in longer period of time and moreover the concept of adhesive dentistry is based upon bonding to dentinal tubule and enamel. The greater area is covered with calcium hydroxide the greater is the chance of dislodgement of Filling material. And a little tip for you, use chlorhexidine 2% in the dentinal tubules after etching. It helps in disinfection as well as better bonding.
@@AjmalIqbal4u you can find journals stating etching is not so effective in GIC surface. So no effective resin tags to bond. So the bonding is much weaker in GIC surface. So sandwich won't be long lasting I think in case of class 2. But in case of class 1 cavity u have 4 walls of the tooth structure to bond increasing c factor of the composite. May be better prognosis in class 1 cases but still a controversial topic. Will like to hear other Dentist's view point!!

Appreciate the work and the effort to document a case for public Awareness. So as the intention is educating the public hence the basic recommended protocol should be displayed. I m not going in detail of the technicality but the visual depiction of the presentation. Rubber dam isolation is a quite standard and established norm when it comes to adhesive and Restorative Dentistry. The importance of the rubber dam in success of a case is already proven. Hence I feel that to educate the public depiction in full standard protocol is mandatory. For I stance if a person goes to a dental clinic for a same kind of filling and the treating dentist attempts to place a rubber dam but then the patient says that he or she dosent wish to have the dam (for any reason). Now when the dentist tries to explain the importance the dam the patient gives the example of your video and says then how could that doctor do the filling without it. Now my question is how thr current dentist defend his or her stand of using the dam. Just think we ourselves sometimes compel fellow dentists to speak against us. My humble suggestion would be to depict the treatment protocols in the standard manner when they are posted in social media for public Awareness.
What is the price of that filling?! do we get free tooth filling during teeth cleaning or teeth cleaning only contains cleaning of the teeth? Also, before teeth cleaning we should tell docto lr that we need filling also, or after the teeth gets cleaned?
Dnt use caoh 2 under composite restoration directly..u have to use some sort of liner between them....the composite curing will be affected by caoh...in the case u seem to use dycal.(for..light cure caoh this effect is reduced)...this uncured resin will irritate pulp followed by tooth becoming non vital

Haha.... depression due to cavity.... Kindly dont make it a big issue... Cavities are not big a deal if taken good care of... and also if u get ur treatment done on time... Cavities are bad only when u ignore them... So stop worrying about them.... Do 2 times brushing wid stim renamel toothpaste wid soft brush.... Visit ur dentist every 6mnths even if u dont have a problem just for a regular checkup and everythng will be fine
Caoh2 will not prevent from secondary caries...infect your bonding and cavity prep + the material of choice and cuting light all these are responsible for chances of secondary caries.
Sir i have removed my one wisdom teeth 5 months ago but still the place is not fully recoverd it got sensitivity issue whenever i eat something sweet or cold it cause little bit pain or sensitiveness and i can see some white part in that place like teeth whats the issue can you tell me ?
