Silver amalgam filling can be used in RC treated tooth , on which crown will be placed and hence less chances of toxicity , along with advantage of its strength.

There is flouride releasing composites also...but their flouride release tends to be less than gic
Also Even the gic doesnt release flouride forever...it needs to be "recharged"once in a while....
Very informative vdo..i m senior dentist ..ur way of extraction is good..i m from GDC mumbai..in our college teacher use to taught us like this only n i m following d same technique of luxation n then with forceps removal of tooth becomes very easy ..plz do not apply forceps directly ..d tooth will get fracture easily...then all complications comes ..n charges also gets increased

aaj 20 saal hogaya hai mujhe silver amalgam kj filling karke uper last molars mein. aaj tak First class hai mera dant...kuch problem nahi hai. aur mera ek dost ka 30 saal hogaya hai Silver amalgam ki filling,kuch problem nahi hai

If the decay is in limit(not extended till the pulp), then you can get your Composite restoration...
If the decay 've reached into the pulp...then you have to get ROOT CANAL TREATMENT of that tooth and get a crown to it....
If cavity is too large...then its better to get it extracted and go for FPD/IMPLANT

Sir, maine composite filling karaya hain. Mera front ka ek daant chipped hua hain. Mujhe composite filling method achha laga but doctor ne sahi se filling nahi ki jab main ander se jeeb laga kar check karta hoon to mujhe waha par unfilled portion ka pata lagta hain and itni achhe se bhi nahi kiya jisse ki aesthetic dikhta ho to kya main is filling ko dubara aur aesthetically Kara sakta hoon?

Sir please reply,RCT case, today I clean my tooth and they told me to come after 5 day, they told me for complete rct I have visit 3 times. Thay charge for 3k but agree with 2600 but they told me that I have put cap to cover up to rct tooth and for cap charge 2k or 6k for different type. But in your video you never mention about cap in any process, so my question is which process they used or is cap really necessary?🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
cap should be done after rct to prevent any infection in rct tooth and also prevent fracture
