I finished hell yesterday on my own summonzon, and literally only died 1 time on ancients (whirley guy had the audacity to attack me!) Great class, looking forward to testing more endgame with it and gearing it.. Is x-bows better than regular generally? or is it just demon machine that is super good?
Demon machine is super good because of the multishot proc, high min damage, and you need 0 ias on any gear for max breakpoint with stafe. Frees up corruptions and gear for cast rate dmg etc. Tbh any bow works with the dmg buff to weapons and dmg buff to strafe
Would you recommend switching to this from a freezing arrow zon in hc? I'm 81 right now and struggling to get a lem rune to make a melody but I have the base and runes for a harmony bow and can make a peace armor. Plus skills is probably 4 or 5 at the moment. I just want to be able to efficiently farm cows/trav and maybe chaos.
Freezing arrow is probably faster on cows tbh. Summonzon got a dmg buff but it's not a meta speed clearer. It's meant to be safe. So if you can figure out the play style sure but you might get merc'd trying it on hc for the first time. Then again if you play hc I assume you don't suck.
@@LukacsSM Thank you for getting back. So what I ended up doing is going for a dual spirit/lore/peace setup for now with enough dex to equip a demon machine when I find one. The skills maxed are the same as your build. Doing surprisingly well for farming chaos and trav safely and efficiently.
I always go decoy, valk, powerstrike, strafe, then rest in Penetrate last and I destroy LoD content with no problem. Power strike helps with physical immunes
Hey could you explain leech and what the optimal setup using Wild witch bow would be? I feel like when I strafe into a pack with summons down I barely leech life or mana I have both on gear...
What no1 said. You can't just say back all your life like last season. That said, just be more careful positioning. Always pop the decoys in front before you strafe. Also your damage isn't great to start because you're splitting with the valks and decoys but as you get better gear 10 percent leech should do you fine depending on dmg
emon machine has a proc chance for multishot on hit and strave causes a lot of hits. Increases AoE damage a lot. Demon machine doesnt need any further IAS to reach max breakpoint. This way u can easyy use +casting speed on gloves. In S4 it was clearly better. In S5, since eaglehorn got some rework and demon machine was nerved and strafe by itself is buffed - it might still be BIS but something with high damage and some +skills like mist runeword might clear at same speed or even better.

You are playing Diablo 2 and You are 81 years old, that is outstanding.

What you generally doing to get to decoy ? Just levelling as Java or something until you are norm Baal level?
Might or WW merc? If you have gavel I figure the WW merc would proc it a lot more but might aura is pretty strong...

Leech was changed in s5, it works at 50% for ranged attacks

U forgot bout Power strike that gives valks more dmg.
It's awful though. I would not recommend using that synergy.
