To be fair, the search command does wonders on the discord for trading and I found sellers and buyers to be way more responsive and easier to contact. There is also much less BS with people trying to lowball and rip off.
I use the filters a lot too. ie if I want to know what people are using for barb I can use keywords and also the in: command which lets me restrict my search to just the sc-barb section. or if I want to know what my immediate options are for runebreaks I can use in: sc-rune-break
Yes, please look past the graphics as tsaolidah stated. The diversity of builds, the Quality of Life, the balancing, end-game maps are incredible. Season 5 (June 24th!) will have even more QoL (no need to namelock for melee) and 9(!?) shared stash tabs too. Plus buff icons and DPS meter I believe.
eth corpsemount can be solid for some PVP action if you get 2 or 3 sockets (I believe) . Gonna make my always trusty Zealer paladin for some 8 players maps action (A lot of currency going there) . I can map since day one with this fella

Almost 90% of all my trading each season has been done through Discord haha -- agreed!
