I find that putting a light oil on my ends and mid shaft, then making two tight bantu knots at the top of my head preserves the silk (gets rid of the puffiness ) and gives those same beachy waves. I hope you try that next time. See how you like it!
I gave up on wrapping my hair. I prefer to flat twist my hair and then put a perm rod on the ends at night. Then in the morning I have a body wave going. Great video!
I can’t either, i just tried the other day, it hurts my scalp! I like the satin heatless curlers, or just a low bun with silk scrunchie. In the morning I’ll curl with heatless curls as needed.
I seriously love your weekly hair vlogs! I add them to my washday playlist and rewatch all the time. The hair styles you choose are so diverse yet the integrity of your hair is still maintained
Definitely hair goals!!!!!!The silk press looks like a nice blowout. Is it possible indoor humidity could be causing it to poof a bit? I would definitely recommend getting a small humidistat for each room especially the bathroom.
I gave up on wrapping. I don't like that bump thing either and how one side is bigger than the other. I prefer to wrap a scarf around my head with all my hair down so both sides are flat and then do a loose Bantu knot bun in the back.
@@roothie__why not use a brush to wrap your hair to help make it flat to your head, I use like 3 different brushes like boar bristle some harder and one that’s slightly softer to smooth the hair and a smaller tooth comb to help make make sure the hair is flat especially in the middle of my head and it don’t be dented
I think if u left the hot rollers in…or used a satin heatless curler for a bit of time ur curls would last. I don’t have hot curlers, but i use my heatless satin curler and then use a hooded drier attachment on my drier while i do my face and same same haha.
Please I need some advice my ends keep splitting. I’ve not adding any extra heat after straightening my hair I’ve also trimmed my hair. Is there anything I can use to hydrate my hair which isn’t oil?
If your hair is fine and coily like mine try to always keep your hair stretched! I actually found for myself that using some heat and leaving my hair alone actually helped it to grow longer. Trimming is also always a must for me, so its good that you already did that :)
There is A woman I watch with similar hair length that does two "roller bun ponytails ( one in front and in back) after parting the hair from ear to ear
The slow-mo was actually giving 😂
That slow mo was EPIC

I've been tryingggg to be more consistent. So I'm glad you enjoy them!
The slow motion was actually perfection 😂🙌🏿 🤍

The bantu knot is a new discovery. I'm glad I'm not the only one that isn't a fan of wrapping. It's such a task!

your hair loooks like bomb kinky straight wig. I am determined to grow my own hair for this reason
Do pins curls! It lays flat and keeps the curls tight
How often do you silk press your hair ?
Your hair is stunning

Finger detangling helps me with damaged ends.

I moisturize with KeraCare Humecto and seal my hair with jojoba oil.
You can seal with butter as well. If you don't like oil you have to moisten the ends daily and use grease or butter.
I really enjoyed this video❤
Thank you!!
@Roothie Love the hair and if you want a better wrap try a cross wrap. Gets your hair supa flat😊
Hmmmm Imma have to look that up!
That was a great video iam afraid to straighten my hair
Wrapping your hair with that part is why you have crimps also using those clips and not large bobby pins is why your hair is puffy
its 4c hair. Its supposed to be puffy.
How often do you do a silk press and how tolerant would you say your hair of heat ??
Once or twice a year. With the addition of periodically blow drying my hair, there’s definitely been some texture changes in my hair
There is A woman I watch with similar hair length that does two "roller bun ponytails ( one in front and in back) after parting the hair from ear to ear
Beautiful hair very healthy butttt it’s not silky are you wetting your hair in the shower? Or sweating?
Beautiful 🎉
While the roller is in spray the roller then pin curl the curl and spray again don't comb out
Ooo ok. I'll have to try that next time!
Come thru slo-mo 💖
Babe the sound those duck clips make when you remove them makes me criiinge
