I was an "admin" (kinda helper) on a bunch of games/apps. Amino, ROBLOX, Minecraft and more. Being staff isn't as fun as it seems. People told me to kill myself. I was an attempted suicide victim, and then I just left those admin teams. Just because someone is staff, doesn't mean you have the right to attack them.
I remember being a leader in amino people were nice to me and some people weird i liked to be staff, and One time people attacked me i always tryed to keep calm when replying and being smart but in the end i got demoted to a member because the agent thought it was "time" to demote all the staff

For real? That's where all the old pros are hiding. There are dozens of them in the UK and US. Usually just a couple hundred, very respectful communities, very honest and non-adversarial moderators. There are also smaller ones of course, I've hosted a private server off my home nas for almost five years now. It's just myself and my extended group of twenty or so friends.

When I was a helper on a small prison server, I remember this guy who came in and started advertising some other server. I muted him, and he logged off. Then, another guy joins and starts spamming the same advertisement. Then again, and again, and again. After six alt accounts, he started insulting me and everyone else on the server. As a helper, all I could really do was warn and mute. I was also the only staff online at the time. So I couldn't do anything but keep muting the guys' 24 accounts. Jesus.
There is this discord server who gives people random Minecraft accounts. I've tried it and actually works. That's probably how people get alts because I've tried it once and the account has been banned from hypixel.
I like it when staff actually show us peasants what goes on in their lives. It gives us a better understanding of what helpers/staff/admins go through, and what is expected of them. These videos also act as a wake-up-call for the annoying players that do things like what we watched here. Thank you for posting this!

I was a Mineplex mod for just under year before it started to decline (like 3 years ago?). Honestly don't remember getting anything like this, probably because the Mineplex community's average age is much lower than the average age of Hypixel's players. The "worst" was just msg spam bots. It's interesting to see the differences in time and server.

I’ve been through something like the worst one (the six account person one) and I usually play ROBLOX. Which definitely has a lot of little kids (I prefer to call myself a pre-teen) and there was this kid saying that leaders get three lives (I like Warrior cats so, that explains the whole argument) and about ten or eight people, including me, were saying they had nine lives, I walked out of the den (I was playing Lake Project btw) and they followed me, saying my Prefix was invalid (It was Shadowed - Frost) and I ignored them, then they said they had “haker frends” and it was obvious they were younger then ten, They then said when a spectator appeared, “This is my haker frend” and the “hacker” said, “I like taking robux!” And I said this with the most sass you can put in letters, I said, “I ain’t got no Robux, Id iot” (idiot gets tagged, I kniw I insulted them but, sometimes you just need to bump down somebodies ego) and then they said, “Then I will delet your acount!!!!” And I said I’d block them, they said why I did that before I did then I said, “So I don’t have to listen to your fake drama” then blocked then. Proudest moment of 2020 April the 17th, I then told my mother about it and she shrugged it off :> I’m nor sure if you think whoever is reading this is worth your time but, if you actually read it all, thanks! It means a lot to me and it will make my dream as a writer seem like it’s more likely! (Like always, you might not be able to do your childhood job but, you can always do your childhood job!)
I was in bloxburg and this girl was threatening to hack people. (According to her she was learning how to hack from her brother.) I'm 15, so I obviously wasn't dumb enough to believe this, but a lot of younger kids play roblox and it really wasn't cool of her to scare them so I decided to confront her. I basically asked her what coding language she used and she wasn't able to give me an answer until I started listing off languages. When she told me she was going to hack accounts with lua that's when it became immediately obvious to me that she knew nothing about coding. So I laughed at her and then she started to get really mad at me and I quote "You don't know anything you're just a little white girl." Which race had nothing to do with this but whatever lmao. I just watched Tenebrous' latest video and just realised that ShotGunRaids completely stole your content TWICE (this video and your one titled "my biggest mistake on Hypixel..."). He seems to be targeting small TH-camrs who are getting large amounts of views so I hope that he at least gives you the credit you deserve. Anyways, I'm just here to try to support you by watching this video (It probably doesn't do much, but I guess it's something).
..Are you sure you've had nothing like this? I'm not even ranked and I see enough alike situations, save for the number 1 spot (that one's out of bounds for me!). (Edit: Through those many situations, aside from the inevitable needy players I sometimes humour because it's a little hard not to feel sorry for them, there've been a lot of muted players and reports I've passed on doing for not having evidence since I don't record.. It's kind of the norm in my opinion. If a chatreport happens it's like ones in this video, as anything less than the honourable mentions just isn't worth caring about.)

SP: I told a guy the kill himself and then i got muted and banned. I did the same thing on all accounts and they all got banned. FP: You are dumb... I don't know you anymore, goodbye. Lol, that is how I wish that the conversation between the guy in the last situation and his friend would have
I know how the guy with alts kept spamming you. So he might have access to a random account generator, which there he can make new accounts that aren’t muted or banned to join your lobby. I believe they should install a program that identifies the IP of the spammer and try to ban it from there.
lLucer Banned on hypixel means that ACCOUNT. They just get another random alt and go on. IP ban bans your ip. Most routers use a dynamic IP that can easily be changed by just waiting a day or restarting your router. There is always a way around a ban.

Staff member on a fairly popular Bedrock server here- I’ve had to deal with more than my fair share of interesting people. But one stuck out to me: There was this guy. Let’s call him Jack. He was a beloved member of the server’s community for longer than I’ve been on there. He’d run into the public pvp arenas, wipe out everyone with his **amazing pvp skills**, then go and do whatever players do when they’re not in the spawn area. No one questioned why exactly he was so good. People just knew he was. One day, I was monitoring the pvp area. Making sure that no one’s hacking or safe zone hitting or anything. Then, Jack jumps right into the arena and begins, I kid you not, **immediately one shotting everyone in sight**. Turns out this “beloved” player was the leader of an illegally hacked items trading cartel. Him and a couple other players would wait until no staff were online, then hop right into private messages to persuade older players to buy their goods. He didn’t know that I was right above him, watching the entire thing. Me and a few other staff members raided his base of operations, confiscated the items he sold, and one of the Owners added a plugin that would detect if an item went over the vanilla enchant level limit. We’re still finding little bits and pieces of illegal armor and weaponry from those days. TLDR; Busted the server’s illegal items mafia

To bad mouth and tell someone to kill themselves is a serious offense. Not only would I ban him and note his alts down, but also send a ticket to Mojang on these accounts. Now, I've heard that Mojang/Microsoft won't terminate your MC account, but I don't believe that its impossible for a third party to step in and handle this unacceptable badmouthing. For the server's sake, servers using McBans have the ability to co-operate on the ban list, so one server ban with McBans leads to being banned on multiple other servers using McBans. The Server should also have a sensor system on such matter. Might be easy to surpass it but when you notice these censored words appearing in chat you can prepare yourself as an admin and warn him. The reason I'm saying this is that I know some depressive people, even my brother has said that he would not mind suicide if it comes to it (we've handled it by now), these types of people might take it more emotional than others. Some people might have lost someone recently to such matter, so I'ts never a joking matter to use such words. I myself have witnessed and been told these words, and approach this with a calm temper and just reported it, and doing so you will be the victor, not the victim. As I'm a grownup, I can understand that these people themselves might have problems and don't take life as serious, leading them to relentlessly spouting offensive words and such without a second thought, since they don't appreciate the worth of life. I myself don't take these threats seriously if they are directed towards me as I know better, but there are many other people that can't take it easy as I do, so no matter what a person has done, nobody deserves such offensive words. Always defend and keep discussions and problems at a polite temper of argument. Obviously, this guy was spamming it, having even the softest of people not taking it seriously since I'ts not really directed towards them, and is an act of spam and less of a threat. But I'm writing this for those who've had these types of messages directed directly towards themselves. Always stand ground, and never fall so low as to use these words yourself. These stuff happens in many online games, so this does not only apply to Minecraft. Sure took my time writing this, while eating, hope this message is understood. A little silly writing a serious message in a minecraft video but oh well.
That's absolutely not the problem. Many people, especially teens, find comfort and solitude in video games, to escape reality and what bad memories surround them. Most people say stuff like you do because they do not understand, or are just enjoying the suffering of others to comfort themselves (like bullies at school). In no way is this natural selection, as these people were not born this way, they became this way through what has happened in their life, and with a little or more help, they can get their feet back together and be one of society who might stand next to you once more. One needs the motivation to accomplish anything, and when that's gone, you should realize that you need assistance. I also did not specify Minecraft, all video games count in this matter of topic. Rather, don't say stuff like this if you're not going to lend a supportive hand if you're to ever stumble upon someone with issues. If your definition of natural selection would come to be, we would all just end up as cold-hearted people, leaving the weak alone and without support, which would lead to bullying, since nobody would care to help someone being suppressed and harassed by others. There's always more context to words. I'm sorry if you find me taking this too seriously, but it is simply that this is a serious matter, might it be through a game like here or through social media, the topic is all the same. You can always put more thought in whats happening, why that person said those words, what effect those words might have on others and is this all right? Do we want a society where such words in this video become a norm? I would personally not enjoy it.

Don’t even get me started, my best friend actually was a programmer on there a few years back. she was actually programming Gravity (which apparently was a lot different than a dropper in the beginning). But like she was following all the instructions and everything, and they just changed the whole concept and blamed her for “not doing her job” and she’s still banned to this day

I was a Mineplex mod for just under year before it started to decline (like 3 years ago?). Honestly don't remember getting anything like this, probably because the Mineplex community's average age is much lower than the average age of Hypixel's players. The "worst" was just msg spam bots. It's interesting to see the differences in time and server.
the worst ive seen was the ammount of times spam bots joined and just spammed server names and anti staff crap into the chat calling them satanists that should die. and thats why i hate mineplex
I’ve been through something like the worst one (the six account person one) and I usually play ROBLOX. Which definitely has a lot of little kids (I prefer to call myself a pre-teen) and there was this kid saying that leaders get three lives (I like Warrior cats so, that explains the whole argument) and about ten or eight people, including me, were saying they had nine lives, I walked out of the den (I was playing Lake Project btw) and they followed me, saying my Prefix was invalid (It was Shadowed - Frost) and I ignored them, then they said they had “haker frends” and it was obvious they were younger then ten, They then said when a spectator appeared, “This is my haker frend” and the “hacker” said, “I like taking robux!” And I said this with the most sass you can put in letters, I said, “I ain’t got no Robux, Id iot” (idiot gets tagged, I kniw I insulted them but, sometimes you just need to bump down somebodies ego) and then they said, “Then I will delet your acount!!!!” And I said I’d block them, they said why I did that before I did then I said, “So I don’t have to listen to your fake drama” then blocked then. Proudest moment of 2020 April the 17th, I then told my mother about it and she shrugged it off :>

I was in bloxburg and this girl was threatening to hack people. (According to her she was learning how to hack from her brother.) I'm 15, so I obviously wasn't dumb enough to believe this, but a lot of younger kids play roblox and it really wasn't cool of her to scare them so I decided to confront her. I basically asked her what coding language she used and she wasn't able to give me an answer until I started listing off languages. When she told me she was going to hack accounts with lua that's when it became immediately obvious to me that she knew nothing about coding. So I laughed at her and then she started to get really mad at me and I quote "You don't know anything you're just a little white girl." Which race had nothing to do with this but whatever lmao. Something was bothering me. So I tossed and turned for about three hours, then I finally can't take it anymore, I stood up and went straight to my room where she's sleeping. I approached the bed, gently sat on it and I reached for her shoulder to pull her closer to me. She stirred and woke up. She asked what's up. I know how the guy with alts kept spamming you. So he might have access to a random account generator, which there he can make new accounts that aren’t muted or banned to join your lobby. I believe they should install a program that identifies the IP of the spammer and try to ban it from there.

lLucer Banned on hypixel means that ACCOUNT. They just get another random alt and go on. IP ban bans your ip. Most routers use a dynamic IP that can easily be changed by just waiting a day or restarting your router. There is always a way around a ban.

I’ve had to deal with more than my fair share of interesting people. But one stuck out to me:
There was this guy. Let’s call him Jack. He was a beloved member of the server’s community for longer than I’ve been on there. He’d run into the public pvp arenas, wipe out everyone with his **amazing pvp skills**, then go and do whatever players do when they’re not in the spawn area. No one questioned why exactly he was so good. People just knew he was.
One day, I was monitoring the pvp area. Making sure that no one’s hacking or safe zone hitting or anything. Then, Jack jumps right into the arena and begins, I kid you not, **immediately one shotting everyone in sight**. Turns out this “beloved” player was the leader of an illegally hacked items trading cartel. Him and a couple other players would wait until no staff were online, then hop right into private messages to persuade older players to buy their goods. He didn’t know that I was right above him, watching the entire thing. Me and a few other staff members raided his base of operations, confiscated the items he sold, and one of the Owners added a plugin that would detect if an item went over the vanilla enchant level limit. We’re still finding little bits and pieces of illegal armor and weaponry from those days.
TLDR; Busted the server’s illegal items mafia

Now, I've heard that Mojang/Microsoft won't terminate your MC account, but I don't believe that its impossible for a third party to step in and handle this unacceptable badmouthing.
For the server's sake, servers using McBans have the ability to co-operate on the ban list, so one server ban with McBans leads to being banned on multiple other servers using McBans.
The Server should also have a sensor system on such matter. Might be easy to surpass it but when you notice these censored words appearing in chat you can prepare yourself as an admin and warn him.
The reason I'm saying this is that I know some depressive people, even my brother has said that he would not mind suicide if it comes to it (we've handled it by now), these types of people might take it more emotional than others. Some people might have lost someone recently to such matter, so I'ts never a joking matter to use such words. I myself have witnessed and been told these words, and approach this with a calm temper and just reported it, and doing so you will be the victor, not the victim. As I'm a grownup, I can understand that these people themselves might have problems and don't take life as serious, leading them to relentlessly spouting offensive words and such without a second thought, since they don't appreciate the worth of life. I myself don't take these threats seriously if they are directed towards me as I know better, but there are many other people that can't take it easy as I do, so no matter what a person has done, nobody deserves such offensive words. Always defend and keep discussions and problems at a polite temper of argument.
Obviously, this guy was spamming it, having even the softest of people not taking it seriously since I'ts not really directed towards them, and is an act of spam and less of a threat.
But I'm writing this for those who've had these types of messages directed directly towards themselves. Always stand ground, and never fall so low as to use these words yourself.
These stuff happens in many online games, so this does not only apply to Minecraft.

Many people, especially teens, find comfort and solitude in video games, to escape reality and what bad memories surround them.
Most people say stuff like you do because they do not understand, or are just enjoying the suffering of others to comfort themselves (like bullies at school).
In no way is this natural selection, as these people were not born this way, they became this way through what has happened in their life, and with a little or more help, they can get their feet back together and be one of society who might stand next to you once more. One needs the motivation to accomplish anything, and when that's gone, you should realize that you need assistance.
I also did not specify Minecraft, all video games count in this matter of topic.
Rather, don't say stuff like this if you're not going to lend a supportive hand if you're to ever stumble upon someone with issues.
If your definition of natural selection would come to be, we would all just end up as cold-hearted people, leaving the weak alone and without support, which would lead to bullying, since nobody would care to help someone being suppressed and harassed by others. There's always more context to words.
I'm sorry if you find me taking this too seriously, but it is simply that this is a serious matter, might it be through a game like here or through social media, the topic is all the same. You can always put more thought in whats happening, why that person said those words, what effect those words might have on others and is this all right?
