The day I have booked a tour with holoholo, it's forecasting rain throughout the whole day. Would it still be a good first time snorkeling experience if there's not enough sun?
yes, I just came back from napali, I live kauai you see and we decided, hey lets go napali coast today, THERE WAS A HUGE SWELL, so it was kind of ruff making it hard to go niihau so we couldnt, but we were able to go to the edge of ke'e beach, and it was pretty good, just for those who get sick, you might wanna go in the back. if you like a thrill, well oh boy, you will like the front, just keep safe
I did the Napali Coast a few years ago, the July before the pandemic. It was amazing! We went into the sea caves and snorkeled for a good hour or so. A sea turtle came to check me out. During that same trip, I also did the helicopter tour, so got to see the Waimea Canyon and Napali Coast from above. It was such an amazing experience to see it on water and above.
Did the Napali tour in 2014, it was fantastic. Also took the Helicopter tour which was just as amazing. Kauai is one beautiful place!! I gotta go back!!!
Expect adventure beyond your wildest dreams!! Merry Christmas Mele Kalikimaka 🎁🎄! We’ve done holo holo many times and capt Andy’s too, 4 times visiting Kauai and it’s perhaps the most beautiful place on the planet.
I love that place!! We got to go into the caves. Then on the very back side, the arch, some guy flew a plane under it for a movie. I now have a 7mm wet suit for this place. I have never seen such a great buffet. It's usually pb&j and snack bars. The pool is open lol, no everything that goes in the water is chum!
First off Merry Christmas! I hope you had a great holiday! love the Nepali coast! While I have seen it from both the air and ocean, I must say seeing it from the ocean is amazing. I will have to say, my favorite tour was on a zodiac. It was fantastic experience! Granted the ride is rough and not suitable for all, it was exhilarating and fun! Wishing you and your family a Happy Nee Year! Looking forward to what comes in the new year!!
@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide we've really enjoyed your channel since we booked our trip in November. we've spent so much time planning all of a sudden we're realizing we're actually going!!! we definitely will book this one (I think the 3 hour sunset one)
We have a 4 and 6 year old. As much as we would love as adults to see the Na Pali coast we're worried about the kids being miserable and seasick for 4-5 hours. Is there any way to find a boat that would do a mini 2 hour tour of a portion of the coast? We're going at the beginning of April
Most tours leave from South Kauai and it is a minimum of 1+ hours to get to the start of the Napali, that is why the tours are long. Two operators leave from Hanalei Bay but that is still a long ride to the start of the Napali. Perhaps wait till they are older?
Yes we do! Here is for the cruise. They have a sail dinner too which is linked in the article. thehawaiivacationguide.com/activities/napali-coast-sunset-and-dinner-cruise/
Coming to Kauai in November. We have a large Family, and have done both the Capt. Andy's sunset and snorkeling trips without kids in the past. I'm curious how does this compare to Capt. Andy's experience and secondly which would you prefer with kids? Also I know seas can be a bit rough in the winter, is this still a good option with kids then?
We did this in early November and got lucky on the weather. April should be good. It is always a little rough on the way back. We did it in late august and it was still rough for some.

Heading to Oahu tomorrow! Gotta binge your videos
Enjoy the videos! Have a great trip!
Omg so awesome! Thanks for the great video!
we are hoping to do one of these when we're there next month. I have no idea if this would make me seasick or at least just a little dizzy.
Take some motion sickness medicine just in case! You’ll have a blast.

@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide yes always. Heavenly and Mt Rose 😊🏂
I do enjoy your blogs, but I was also enjoy if you would include the cost of these, so we know if it will fit in our budget or not

Can you bring floatation device. I swim but think i would last longer
They provide floation devices if you ask. From a noodle to a life preserver made for snokeling.

I’d recommend this one for a smaller group and the kids loved the slide.
We did Napali Coast but they were going so fast lots of people including me were so sick 😢
How long is the ride from the dock to na pali? Heading there in august for our 25th wedding anniversary
It’s about an hour. It goes fast as it follows Hawaii’s longest beach so nice views. Have a great trip!
Very nice Jo
What camera did you guys use for this??!
GoPro!
Now try hiking it!!!
We’ve done that too! Got to sleep on Kalalau Beach. Totally worth it!
do you have a boat company you recommend for a pregnant lady around 14-15 weeks?
Here are our favorite tours, you can see their policies: thehawaiivacationguide.com/best-napali-coast-boat-tours/
Do they train for snorkeling? Is it must to know swimming
It is a must to be a swimmer, they give snorkeling tips and help fit equipment before you go into the water. thanks for asking!
I can't swim in that ocean with sharks in it. And I'll get sea sick. The current looks hard. I like the Kayak with Water Falls
Good idea! Wailua River kayaking is a great option for you
Which tour did you do? thanks

👏 WOW
Hi!
What month was it when you guys took this boat trip? So fun!
Early November we did it!
Thank You!
What month did you do this tour? Is it rough in April?

His little singing voice 🥲🥰🌊 precious
thanks for watching till the end. I wanted to make sure I remembered that part of the trip!
How old is your little guy there? I have a 5 and 7 year old.
He is 5, the minimum age for that tour.
Is it open again?
It’s open.
Unfortunately I fell on the catamaran and broke my leg. Ruined our trip and have to fly home 8 days early.
So sorry to hear that Brenda! I hope it heals up quickly. Sorry about your trip!
