That’s the cave that Casey and I explored on our trip. It’s an old lava tube, used by people long ago. Lots of fire black on the walls and some old stuff in the bottom. Cool place, but agreed on the “Snake heaven” comment. Best explored in the winter. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I would be investing in a Starlink Mini haha! Always a fun time exploring and finding little treasures.

It's all those little things that make a trip fun! I'd like to hear more about the Starlink Mini? What would I use it for? My iphone ect??

Global internet anywhere. Keeps getting smaller and smaller. Good for emergencies and communication redundancy

Hey I recognize that cave. It's on my to-do list. Anyways if I recall correctly each end of that cave goes back a ways. Might be worth a revisit. From what I understand the west entrance stays pretty cold.

Thanks for sharing your exploration of old ruins. The name Fitch sounded familiar to me. I found a possible answer to your bottle. It may be a Fitch Rose Hair Oil bottle. Fitch was made in Des Moines Iowa. When I was a kid my dad would take me to the barber shop once a week. After getting my hair cut, the barber would put some Rose Hair Oil on the back of my neck and head. I believe the 7 may be for 7 ounces. Does that quantity fit the bottle?

@@cowelk that’s all correct. Thank you for the comment. Hopefully it brought back some memories!

So you had 8 miles on that road that was disappointing. The end. You’re driving quickly down the road..? Did you decide to turn around? Or did you make it? Or….i missed something? Anyhow great video, as usual👍

Sometimes my mic drops out, not recording my voice. I don't know until I get home to edit video. When it happens, I'm forced to put something together with music. I've got better about it, but that tip not so much. I kept moving forward and completed the trail making it to camp. Found a 10+ year drug lab on the way out as well! I didn't show it because no voice was recorded. Thanks for the hair cut!

The elevation out there at something like 4,200 feet you are going to burn faster. Skin damage is nothing to mess around with. It is cumulative so every minute adds up until you win the skin cancer sweepstakes. I would suggest a good sun hat so you don't have to slather on that sticky sun screen, and wear a long sleeve light-colored shirt. Might as well throw in some snake gaiters for that really paranoid desert nerd look! ATGATT, all the gear, all the time.
