Graphics quality from best to worst 1. XBOX 360 - Obviously the best version by far, supports HD and additional post processing effects, but that's a given since this console is a whole generation ahead of the others. 2. GameCube - For some reason the video output in this version is cleaner than original Xbox for this game, and as an owner of the GCN version, I can confirm it looks just like it does in this video on real hardware through progressive scan. Some textures also feature more detail than the PS2 version. However, this version does have some minor graphical bugs in cutscenes, but besides that it looks better than PS2 and Xbox. 3. Xbox - The text looks blurrier in this version than on GameCube, and the aliasing is slightly worse, but at least supports progressive scan unlike PS2. The textures are also better than PS2 in some areas. 4. PS2 - No progressive scan and has terrible aliasing. Textures are slightly less detailed than GameCube and Xbox. 5. PSP - Impressive port but features way blurrier textures than any of the console versions, lower poly characters, no facial animations except in cutscenes, lower resolution (due to smaller screen), and an inconsistent framerate that is all over the place. Not to mention there are no NPCs in the hub.
while i grew up with the ps2 version, i also feel a lot of nostalgia for the gba version cuz i used to play it a lot on an online emulator when i was 10 before i found the pc version of the game which is pretty much just the og xbox version with some graphical glitches (like walls disappearing in the hoth base level, and the rain in dagobah multiplying when you have the game paused)
Ah, nostalgic game.. 🥺 This is one of my favorite Lego games, I used to play this Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy on PS2, and it's still the most memorable and best Lego game ever.. 👍
also i think you should compare lsw1 too, it doesn't have as many ports but it's still cool to compare, and maybe also have the psp versions of the lsw1 bossfight levels from the psp version of lsw2
Except they make you pay for characters from the first game so I was wondering if the Wii or last gen versions exclude those characters too or if they are included free.
there's something about the ds version that makes me feel like it's unfinished, idk what exactly cuz i havent played it in a while but it looks like it was either rushed or released before it was finished
@@Supersonic992 your right ist kinda buggy also not to mention how the npcs are stupid and i dont mean your enemies i mean your mates its like if they die the respawn and die on the same place which believe the episode 6 level 4 is impossible to beat
During the Gameplay Test part of the video in the Xbox version the Imperial Shuttle Pilot has a gray hat. Every other version he has a black hat like he's supposed to. I wonder why.
I only noticed just recently playing the game on my fully backwards compatible CECHA01 PS3 console that the PS2 version has scanlines in it never noticed it when I played it as a kid but that's probably because we had a CRT television and those scanlines probably blended right in on the CRT screen.
Of the handhelds the PSP is obviously the best. ...i just wish that happened a lot more back then...ANNND that i had known that. Thanikfully, that era is over, and modern handhelds (Switch, Steamdeck, ROG Ally etc) are powerful enough to do what the PSP did here.
I played the ds version and im interested in the red bricks and that you have to find them, it makes the game more interesting. When you could straight up buy it in the ds version it ruined the replayability and in general the game just sucks, most of the music im not even sure is from star wars especially the mos eisley mission when roaming around. The only things i do like about the game are the cutscenes and the lightsaber noise when you do the super jedi slam
3d game on gba whaaaaat lol :D i know its not fully 3d but looks 3d and another 3d game on nds lol :D if u play it on nds emulator u can put high resolution filter and it would look even better but i know he using legit consoles cuz we dont promoting emulators and piracy here ;)
I don’t understand why this game is on so many consoles. Why couldn’t it be GameCube, PS2, Xbox, and GBA like the first game? The Xbox 360, DS, and PSP versions didn’t need to exist.
The DS version is really not good, but it actually has one thing going for it, that shit version somehow got a far supperior incarnation of the custom characters, having access to more character classes, making unnarmerd melee characters, short characters, droids, troopers and even more weapons, such a shame that these even better custom characters had to be in such an inferior game.
Which One is Your Favorite?
Xbox 360
XBOX 360
Gamecube and xbox 360
PSP
Xbox 360 and I did get that free

I know this video do not have PC but what about it?
What about the ds and gba?
@@Jay-uu5lu Since they are different from the console/PSP editions it wouldn't make sense to compare them.
But you can't lie the psp is impressive for a handheld
The game boy avance version is quite good and with all honestly those graphics have a unique charm in my opinion
Yeah also considering the graphical limitations of that handheld, they still managed to provide a LEGO Star Wars “feel”.

The gameboy advance version is pretty impressive tbh
Nah
Xbox 360 is the most high quality of them all
Hi Mario why you got a gun the ps2 is good
I wonder why
The PC version is higher quality. 1920x1080

In Ep 4-4 vader doesn't appear in freeplay and the DS version might be the one with the most bugs (i think)

The DS version feels like a fever dream
Glad you’ve switched to slower screen wipes. Much easier to see the differences in your more recent videos 😊
Can you do Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars?
Lego Star wars 3 on PSP- it's sh*t.
@@rider8683 better than the ds version

the psp is technically just a handheld ps2 so they could easily port the game to psp :)
