Genesis 28-30
Reading from a burlington's version of the Bible today. Some of those older English words are kind or hard to say or understand so I explained a few.
Good examples of good and bad communication today. The first by Jacob in a dream often called Jacob's ladder and the second a hard experience for Jacob being tricked by his father-in-law to be and some of the unforeseen consequences.
I've often wondered if his new wife was aware of what was going on or even had a choice in the matter.
Undaunted, Jacob kept his integrity and recognized the sacred promise of marriage.
