Thank you! Some days it was VERY hot in the costumes. They were a very heavy material and we moved the entire time. Fortunately we usually had at least a 90 minute break between our two parades and got to air out a little! And since the second parade was after the sun was down, that one was usually much cooler! @@MichaelDunn-vd4vx

Nice job on the video. I'm such a big fan of the Mulan parade. It is my most favorite parade from disneyland Every time I watch this parade. I get a ear worm from the music. And my favorite part is the first half from the matchmaker to the ensister floats But the whole parade is terrific. Let me tell you this disneyland in the 90s was perfect
Yes, I did. It was really amazing to see the behind the scenes of the parade. And it was really cool to see the close up pictures of the costumes. Trust me, the other parades from the 90s were really good, but nothing beats The Mulan parade. I can tell you that.🏯⛩️🌛🧧🏮
ya, i messed up on the dates. I could have swore it premiered two weeks before the movie was release. But I guess of all the people who would know you would, lol. Thanks Don! :)
I do know that there is another version of this parade at MGM studios. I have watched it and it's okay, but the Disneyland version is totally better. A lot more floats. The make up on the umbrella. Dancers and the ribbon dancers are a lot better in this version. Then the MGM studios version because the makeup there are just white. Congrats for disneyland
Parades that make you forget you’re at Disneyland are the best kind of parades. This was certainly one of them.
It was so different than anything we've ever done there. Good memories.
Love this! I was one of the Umbrella dancers at the beginning of the Parade and I'm always excited to stumble across footage! Thank you for sharing!
Were you the one behind the dancing building? 4:51
@@MichaelDunn-vd4vx I’m the first umbrella dancer you see… pink umbrella, purple and green dress. 4:46
@marissariotto7213 You look very nice in the costume Was it hot bee in the costume during the daytime parades in 1999

Did u see my deep dive into this parade with one of the opening cast Mulans? Art of the experience episode 2 I believe.

If I remember correctly, this was my very first Disney parade I saw.
This is Awesome parade, Only got to see the one at MGM Studios & this one is far superior, Great share
Soft opening was Monday, June 15. Opening night was Friday, June 19.

Wow it looks like the characters were pretty known even before the movie came out
marketing at it's finest.
