7 months on and it's still good. Not even a bit of looseness since then. And the hole is basically invisible there.

June 7th 2019. Still as good as new.

Thank u for your help! But to cut the plastic to adjust the nut doesn't help totally. But I do respect your effort. Thank u!

After I saw the hex nut and springing your video (thank you), I pulled the mirror stem down so to put pressure on the nut and spring against the inside housing and rotated clockwise until it was tight again.

You shouldn't let them get away with it, you have a warranty, you deserve a new mirror.

That sucks that your mirror got broke in the process, but getting it apart and seeing how the internals work and how to possibly fix it is a service to the rest of the CRF community. Maybe it will give some people some ideas on how to fix them without breaking the glass or damaging the structural integrity of the mirror housing. Where you cut it doesn't look like it will damage that integrity much. Now maybe you can figure out some kind of insert to make to cover the hole and keep muck out of it. Maybe cut a piece of plastic to the right size then use black RTV silicone to hold it in place?
There are a couple of CRF250L/Rally FB pages that this kind of information would be helpful to. Maybe you should consider joining and once you're accepted into the group post this video. I'm a member on both pages.

Yes, I thought the same thing. One mirror got broken but at least now I know how it works, and maybe it will help other people. I will try to cover it with plastic or silicone later. Thanks for your comment and advice. I'll check those groups out.

If the manufacturers fitted a tail on the nut you could tighten it by turning the mirror!

Have u tried to rotate the mirror in clocwise or anticlockwise direction, lets see if it works

I have. It didn't work. It only made it looser.

Valla helal aga, bende benzer bir yöntem ile benimkileri sıkıcamda, senin şu arada vida yerleri vardı. O aralarda vida yokmuydu sende?

Yok. Videoda ne görünüyorsa o şekilde ayna. İçinden veya dışından bir parça çıkarmadım videoyu çekerken.

If you rotate the mirror it tightens friend the reason why it became looser is because you twisted the wrong way

It will not tighten without holding the nut no matter how much you rotate it. Its a common design flaw
