When it comes to extra controllers - the only one I really recommend is the official Pro controller - every other third party controller has inferior rumble and ditches the NFC compatibility. The battery life on the pro is also excellent.
my friend bought me the pxh p5ol controller for my switch yesterday for my birthday and the rumble is better, the battery is better, and the triggers are almost like analog
I think the only one you "really" need (besides screen protectors and micro sd etc.) is a switch pad [especially if like to play on the console rather than a tv/monitor.]( I think thats what they are called but thats how i found mine.) it makes it so much more comfortable then the regular joy cons, and when you detach it to play on a tv/monitor you can just slide it on to the joy con holder that comes with the nintendo switch, which works very similarly to a pro controller. it also works for both O led and just the original(which is what I have. W ) the recomended brand for me is HORI but I dont think that matters to much. also, If you only play on the tv/monitor then i do recommend the licensed nintendo pro controller. (I got mine used for cheaper price) unlike the "switch pad" i dont recommend getting a third party pro controller because companys can make that easly and cheaply. but you can if you think the nintendo one is to expensive. but some of the other things in this guys video are very good to try but not entirly needed. edit: I wrote this before I watched the rest of the video and if you have just the original nintendo (like me )Then i definitaly recomened a atacheble stan because the design of the table stand is just sorta idodic but on the oled its fine.
The "official" sd cards are the exact same at a larger price point. There is literally no point in spending more for the exact same thing. To anyone reading this ignore this guy, get a regular sandisk sd card and save some money. They aren't made any different besides the looks on the outside. Ignore anyone saying otherwise because they don't know what they are talking about.
"Officially Licensed" ONLY MEANS Nintendo got money to say its "Official Licensed"- NOTHING was done differently to the item with the tag "Officially Licensed"! That term SHOULD NEVER BE TAKEN AS PEACE OF MIND WHEN PURCHASING! IT DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING BESIDES NINTENDO MAKES MORE MONEY, DOES NOT MEAN "BETTER PRODUCT".
I couldn't get on with the nyxis - I got a pair for Bayonetta 3 and during cutscenes when the rumble kicked in it was either so loud it was drowning out the speakers or so weak it wasn't worth having on... I boxed them back up straight away and bought the pro controller - so much better.
What's your thoughts about the new product by CRDK, The Nitro Deck for the Nintendo Switch. Seems its way better than Retroflag but for higher price point but with extra features. Have you pre-ordered it?
I love my 8bitdo pro 2 gameboy edition and I play tabletop mode with my switch OLED docked mode is not better and handheld well my joycons are getting repaired

Why would you need another stand for a switch oled ?
All the third party controllers are still so small idk why but non seem to have normal size thumb sticks even the pro feels too small for me
