Came back to this because Im considering trading a RP1500.1 for one and considering i want something to boost my mids and highs... it almost feels like we both win.

I have had this amp for a good couple of years and i FINALLY am getting it hooked up correctly, and im in the waiting period for the call when its all done im only using stock door speakers in a Toyota Camry, with 2 kicker cx 180watt speakers. I have no idea how it will sound. But im hoping i wont blow the door speakers lol before i replace them with 2 kicker 6 1/2. Twice I have had 2 individuals say they know what they are doing and twice it was not done correctly. Never and I repeat never count on someone that thinks they know how to install this equipment. Unless they are a certified professional. It’s not worth it. Last dude blew my stereo and 3 fuses. Thankfully I got a new deck that was the same as the previous model. I’ll post back when it’s done.
Mine runs some KS by 9s in the doors and some Audiofrog GS25s in the dash. Crossover at 71 and 314, then 4K on the low pass on top.
Half way up is plenty loud. Full power gets you heard a half mile away haha

Thank you..I am running 6.5 at the doors and bridged to a Kicker 8 sub and it’s plenty of power ..could use a lil more for the sub but I am ok with it.

Good video tonight i installed this amp powering 4 alpine type S 6.5in speakers. After getting all the settings correct it deff has the power to push those 6.5's loud.

i have this kicker amp and i have all ofc cooper 4 gauge wire with distribution block with fuse infinity kappa 60csx front and kappa coax rear and alpine s60mono with sundown dvc 4om sub sealed box in an toyota mpv very very musical setup , tou would have have spend 3 times more for a better amps and speakers to sound 40% better i believe cause im sound treated from all downs and car hood as well, banging budget setup!!

That’s true, but it is not clean power. However, for budget systems it is more then adequate. Kicker is really selling mostly entry level stuff now.
@@calebniederhofer6529 Clean enough for me. I have the old KXA line and the new CXA line, both are doing great, power is clean enough that it's not smoking my subs🤷

just put in two of these today and both of them the HP filter doesn't appear to be working well. cut off at 100 hz and still getting 50-60+ HZ passing through to the 6.5" speakers.

Would this power the kicker CS series speakers well? I need two 6x9 and two 6.5. . .the kicker CS 6x9 is rated 150rms and 6.5 version is 100rms. I've heard to match speaker and amp rms or slightly overpower the amp. Similar speakers in the price range like Pioneer or Alpine are like 40rms or 70rms. . .would something closer to 65 be better? Confused, thanks for the video, helped.

I put a pair of 77Kick10's and 77Kick42's in my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee because it was a bolt in 'Plug and Play' application. Decided to take the next upgrade step and go with this amp. It's my first install but I think I chose pretty well. Speakers are rated like 75w RMS and this amp should do about 65w @ 4ohm. I have heard people say different things, but it all sounds good to me... LOUD!i!i!

My 360.4 amp shuts off for a quick moment when I turn up the bass the protect light comes on for like 2 seconds my other amp is a kicker 1800.1 would u know what can cause this

Sometimes you don’t need MORE so it works for your specific scenario
I have this amp and it get hot enuff to protect mode after 20 min. I only have 2 hertz 180w 6x9 brideged. Gain is at 1/4. Any suggestions on why it gets so hot?
Do you have proper electrical feeding that amp ?
@@LivinLoudwithAndy got 4 gauge running to it. So i hooked up the 2 hertz and 2 kenwood 6x9 using all 4 channels and it plays all day at 90 degrees. When i had 2 bridged it was @ 170 degrees when it cut off

How come the rms from the kx speakers from kicker are much higher in rms then the amp rating in 4ohm?
You do make a point kicker has speakers that can take 100 w RMS but they don't offer a 4 channel that can do the same

No just highs get a class d amps for subs

Key electrical is a big topic but I would suggest a secondary battery over a capacitor
How come no one lists peak wattage anymore? With the newer technology and rectifiers, is it no longer important? I was looking at this but nowhere could I find the specs for peak per channel
Peak power is not real power - just max the amp “could” technically put out - but you never see it on a sine wave - “Dynamic Power” is testable on some equipment
Again tho not really numbers that matter
