I think the Folk Alley version of the song is far better. Lyrics were catchier, sassier, and the purity of just guitar, fiddle, and voice showcased it all in a way that was just more powerful. This is one of those songs that's suffered a bit from over-production. Sure, it's still a great song, but it sounds so much better with less noise in the channel.

Heard this on Prairie Home's last show. Showcases Sara's voice in a way I've never heard before - but somehow I like the live PHC version better.

Lunay LeZarde musically I do agree but her vocals were shown more attention in this version which tips the scale for me.
