    I love it. Please please more New Vogue. Awesome teaching. I have seen an old teaching cd of these dances but you breathe fresh air into this style of dance dragging it into the 21st century.

    Love love love....absolutely love these tutorial videos! They have been so helpful especially the New Vogue. I have learnt so much already just from the videos and it's really helpful to go over these before my lessons. I get to make the most of my lessons this way. Thank you so much 💓
    Definitely more NV please!!!! Would love to see the La Bomba and President's Daughter Waltz 🙏🙏🙏

    Will you create videos of Twilight Waltz and Excelsior Schottische?
    All your ballroom videos are well designed, with high qualities; the explanations of figures are especially practical for learners.
    Thanks a lot!!

    I don't like the marchs, but I love the excitement of the tango and the smoothness of the foxtrot. The waltzes are my third pick. I love your music. Maybe the Bomba but I would like to see what you could do with the Marilyn in your advanced piece because this is the only foxtrot that looks sort of boring to me. Any new vogue dancing who be great mate. I'm hooked after watching your Carousel. Regards, Keith.

    Why thank you for your kind response. I pray I did not sound agressive. I understand it's New Vogue, I did NOT think before I sent. In my humble experience, I have heard of New Vogue and not seen it. After viewing a few video's, I personally could not get a feel for the style. I personally enjoy dancing with my partner, was curious as to what new developments were occurring in Ballroom. I recall hearing about New Vogue, in my humble opinion, its not a style I would enjoy at the time. I prefer classic style Ballroom with a good amount of position and holds. For all those who enjoy New Vogue.....Hurrah! Sorry to be a Debbie Downer!

      Wow, I am taken aback by your kind response too! It's NOT normal on YT hahaha. Anyways, thanks for clarifying. New Vogue isn't everyone's cup of tea [don't worry there are NV's I don't like either!]. It's very popular amongst a certain population but you do either like it or not. No worries either way but I do hope you find something here you do like! We specialized in 10 Dance [5 Ballroom and 5 Latin] and teach all 3 styles in our studio. On the front we can agree - Classic Ballroom is our style, technique and training coming from the legend who wrote the technique book so we aren't advocates of some of the intense dancing that is around atm.
      Anyways, thank you for being here and for
      your open response and you are welcome to be part of the channel as we want to spread lots of love and positivity using dancing as the vehicle! :)

      Sequence dancing like Carousel is a great way of getting into dancing, build confidence and musicality. Some dancers especially beginners are a bit reserved and aren’t comfortable in close hold even with their life partners so this is a way of dancing without the this added stress.

    Dancing the Merrilyn is quite boring. I have looked on TH-cam at other dancers dancing the Merrilyn and it's all the same. I am looking forward to seeing your creativity at making this dance more attractive to dance and watch. No pressure. Lol.

    • @BallroomMasteryTV
      @BallroomMasteryTV  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Keith Adolph now that is a challenge! The Merrilyn is the introductory dance in New Vogue like the Parma Waltz. It’s not “exciting” per se as it’s meant to teach basic movement and the rotary chasses.
      I have a video about to go up for it but it won’t be anything advanced as due to the nature of the videos they are syllabus guided with not very much allowance for breaking hold. That’s not to say there isn’t very much option; creativity has no bounds. But the video will be a demonstration of the universal dance in that sense.
      Thanks for your comment and future idea!

    you have to dance these dances in time to the music,the music came first not the dance.

    Yuck, are these due to COVID? I enjoy dancing WITH my partner...too much distance. Do not want to dance alongside my partner...guess I am a classicist!

    • @BallroomMasteryTV
      @BallroomMasteryTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ...But does your partner enjoy dancing with you? :) Anyways, this is New Vogue and I don't think you're familiar with it given the context of the message. This video isn't for you, it's for people who do New Vogue.

    • @djmarie2058

      Thank you for your response. Yes, my partner and I enjoy dancing with one another. I am sure that once this style becomes more well known it is just as enjoyable as all else! I had a knee jerk reaction, apologize for expressing myself honestly. I did express that right now, I still prefer ballroom for myself...
