    This simplifies my practising ALOT actually because now I have an outline and approach. Thank you for this great advice.

    This was extremely helpful! My dance partner and I have been struggling to make the most out of our practice time and we're often lost as to where we should start, how to practice sections etc. We normally just play music and start the routine. But no anymore!
    Thank you so much for this!!

    Very helpful. I am doing private lessons but sometimes feel that the practice has not been productive. Hope my coach is open to this. I’ll practice on my own as well, though. Thank you

    Later I will ask as to how to maintain my head back at the 10-11 o’clock position. Thanks again for the awesome tips..you rock!!!

    Good content but you talk way to fast. Would you consider doing a video as a part of a series? And put each section on a seperate video and explain at a normal pace? (It would save having to fast forward to find the bit I’m up to to practice.

    Ahh I'm gonna try this!!! I've been dancing for 4 years now and for that last couple months I've felt like I haven't been improving at all!
    Quick question though: what would you consider simple and advanced drills for Jive?

    • @BallroomMasteryTV

      Hello Rianna! How did you go with this? It’s normal to hit a plateau DONT GIVE UP! It’s your opportunity to find a new way!

      @@BallroomMasteryTV I've been able to keep this up for about a week now, I had to take a break today because I sprained my ankle haha. I noticed that I start to get frustrated with myself very quickly because my technique (mainly hip action) doesn't look as good as I'd like it to. I take classes once a week and practice everyday on my own. I always feel like my classmates are way better than me and that I look very stiff and awkward. Hopefully I'll be able to keep this up despite my frustration :P

      Ballroom Mastery TV Hi, have you uploaded simple and advanced drills for ballroom dances? Thank you. Lyn

  • @vanessavitiello4943
    @vanessavitiello4943 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I'm curious on this framework... do you choose different drills and routine segments every time you practice or do you repeat them for days/weeks or longer?

    • @BallroomMasteryTV
      @BallroomMasteryTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That’s up to you. As we did 10 dance it depended on the dances we need to work on most. The last section gives your the opportunity to make sure you don’t miss going over your routines though. This process just helps to master your basics as well as advanced technique in a given dance. Give it a shot for week or two see how you go
