Ok actually that isn't true. They ORIGINLLY played violet and daisy in Sideshow. so to say "They should have been "connected" at the hip makes no sense. They had played the characters originally so no one knows how to play and sing the roles like they do. And they were not uncomortable with each other, because they used to be connected at the hip for months for sideshow.
I got such a mixed feeling between them, Emily surprised at Alice giving it her all (she had piled on weight), but the eyes? So wide and almost horrified Alice stole her limelight.
Sad thing here is that they didn't train for this. That's usually how these concerts work out. They train by themselves and then rehearse a day before the concert then, it's anyone's game. They were on two separate pages, not connected, in their heads, and uncomfortable with each other (hence the uncomfortable walking, looking, instability, and unfocused tones). To do "I Will Never Leave You" effectively, they should have been "connected" at the hip since the Hilton Sisters were. Dissapointing.
I wish there was a full recording of Emily singing Poor Unfortunate Souls in this venue. She's so expressive it's brilliant
you can find it on the raw at town hall album... you've probably found that by now...
a trick : watch series at flixzone. I've been using them for watching loads of movies recently.
@Koda Messiah yup, I've been using Flixzone for since november myself :D
Emily's riff in I Will Never Leave You is killer. LOVE these two.
The love I have for these two can't be put into words
I love watching them perform I Will Never Leave You together... Especially Skinner. Shame she hasn't done much recently, cuz she's fab.
This is so incredibly fantastic. I'd give anything to have been there. I love these two so ridiculously much I can't even describe it.
THANK YOU for uploading this!!!
Gosh, Emily's so prettttttyyyyy....even now.....
It's sad that they'll never be able to belt the same anymore....

@Geekette621 "There's Always a Woman" by Stephen Sondheim (it was cut from Anyone Can Whistle).
@BroadwayKing15 Yeah I noticed it after I watched the rest of the clip.
those eyes .... means something very different for the two of them
Did you see it to too?

Oh wow...
6:17 ... dang emily
@t3kar Because they've lost that part of their voice. They didnt belt that ending like they used to. It's just the circle of life.
Why did Emily's eyes look so strange towards the end of the song?
@BroadwayKing15 Why is that?
what song are they singing at 3:40? :D
press 6 for:TO KILL!!!! XD
Skinner is looking like she's morphing into Kathleen Turner in this
She's in incredible shape now. So svelte.
