It occurs to me there might be some misconceptions about the Hurricane in IL2. The Hurricane in reality had excellent maneuverability, and basically carried the Battle of Britain. Now put some better guns, a better engine, and a good pilot in it like we see in IL2... of course it's going to be a dangerous aircraft, this does not make it some "UFO".

I've notices you used the stage 2 for overboost the engine. Does this really work or is just "fake hoursepower" ?? I've read about using stage 2 at low altitude will not "work" as a boost because the intake regulators will deal with the unbalance. But I'm not into the Hurricane engine perks :)
Hi Kuprinski, congratulation on your shooting skills, for sure that is a result of a lot of practice and understanding of ballistics! Well done. Based on your sight span I assume that you are using convergence around 500m. Is that correct?

Never seen such marksmanship!!! On a separate note, don’t know why the British went with the Spitfire, because according to 1C the best fighter of the entire war was the Hurricane.
The hurricane had excellent maneuverability in reality, and carried most of the Battle of Britain. It was not a bad aircraft at all, but slow so the Spitifre became more popular.
Balanced is the best preset IMO, everything looks good quality as well as spotting. I play on low mainly because Finnish server lags like mad for me, which is quite annoying when using TrackIR.
Fun to watch But we all know the IID was for busting tanks and things on the ground., not to be a flying sniper rifle. The weight of the cannon took away whatever "speed" the hurri had, and made it unwieldy. Casualties as a ground attack A/C were bad enough.
The weight and drag of the 40mm isn't much more significant than adding 4x hispanos to the Hurricane, and IID's mostly fought in the desert where any aircraft will suffer a performance impact. In IL2 the Hurricane has the luxury of an upgraded engine and cooler weather to fight in, you can't compare this to desert combat.
