What a crap review. Seriously! I have the 4K version with the rear camera. Works perfectly. Yes, there's a subscription but it's worth it. Features are amazing with more to come. My advice: ignore this 'review' if that's what you can call it.
Obviously u have never had a quality dashcam the 4g models are always subscription based its a security device as well if u want no subscription buy the cheap amazon dashcams
You bought a camera that needs a subscription to work. It's normal for a camera with 4G/LTE. All LTE dashcam have subscriptions.... Buy a normal camera without a subscription. The mistake is yours.

Hmm I bought one in December on a pay monthly plan having mine fitted professionally tomorrow… Iv seen mixed reviews on this dash cam… some say it’s brilliant and others say stay clear .. but I guess it’s like Amazon Prime if you want the full works then subscribe but if not then use something else, it’s like have Sky to installed but done want to subscribe.. what use is it ? None ..
