Yes I was surprised by the phantom. It almost makes me want to keep trying. I just prefer to find undamaged crystals. However I had never had an actual point with the black inclusions so I'm sure I'll be back there.
It’s a very long drive to Arkansas, we want to check out a handful of mines, so we would be doing a pocket dig at one of the bigger places too, I like finding buckets because we give away a lot of what we find
It's a hike that keeps people from going back. Next time I just want to bring backpack with tools/water/food and empty bucket and only collect crystal points.
Sifting is not a good way to find crystals. It’s best to just dig out the pile and hand sift through the loose dirt. The bigger ones will pop out. The tiny ones are a waste of time unless you are making jewelry. Never give up. A treasure is hiding in wait for you if you have patience to keep looking 👍
Nothing wrong with sifting the soil, there's always someone that has to boss everyone around and tell them they are doing it wrong lmfao 😆. You find great stuff sifting, so sift away and ignore the so called know it all's... You do you, f the hater ...
Very cool! Thanks for bringing folks along with you!
Oh man! Love those clear points and the phantoms! Great video! Subbed!
Crystal Vista Quartz excavation, it turns out that there are a lot of quartz stones there.
Not bad for free 👍🏽 I might check this place out this spring sometime
If you are down that way, it's worth checking out. Probably anyone can do better than my luck!
Not too bad, Scott. I like that phantom piece. I’ve only made it out to this location once so far

thanks for the video im going in a week first time. Your video helps
Nice. Love this place. Never know what's gonna come out of the ground. I've found some of my BEST crystals here. Way better than ANY pay to dig mines.
I love the chances at finding blue phantoms. It's great that there is a free place. I need some more experience there though.
I've seen pictures of some huge clusters from that site. I'll Probably go there this spring when the ground is soft
It's hard to pass up the opportunity, but I guess that is obvious because I can't help but go there occasionally.
I’ve always wanted to check that place out, thanks for the video
It would round out a good trip to Arkansas quartz belt, or be practice for the fee-pay mines.

Great advice, Shawn! It's amazing I hadn't really figured that out yet.
