Today's video is a detour from the usual car stuff. But I think this video will be very useful for everyone that has a bricked google home. Even if its out of warranty google is willing to replace it. I also mention a couple troubleshoot methods that has helped some people.
Google support - Send google a message. I only waited 30 seconds.

So helpful! I didn’t even need to contact google. Just plug it in and out with 10 secs interval and it’ll reset eventually. Such a pro tip!!
It really worked well. When the engineer was about to transfer my case to his senior, my google home mini started behaving like normal 😄
(I was actually hoping for a replacement) but nevertheless Everything worked fine.

Hmm.. i just had exactly the same.. the guy asked for the serial number, i gave it.. and all of a sudden it started working again. They might do something on distance?
It's possible that they restarted something on their end. The Google mini is connected to their servers. Probably restarted on their end. Glad it works 😊!

My google had 2 blue lights on and would not answer me. I had tried to reset it, but it seems my particular device does not have that capability. While I was listening to you, I unplugged it at the mains for 15 seconds. Plugged it back in again and voila - my google started working straight away! So thank you.

My Home mini is not doing a single thing to indicate it has any life! I will try your contact number though..... Before I went to contact them I did what some of you said and that was pulling out the cord to the outlet x 10 times. OMG! it worked! It was as dead as any thing with no light at all, nothing for days! No connection at all for days! So.......Thank you because I find most times trying to remedy anything through customer service is a waste! I always check TH-cam when I have trouble with anything!
I actually shocked this worked because it appeared it was totally dead. I actually thought that a thunderstorm that went through here knocked it out but............ VOILA!!!!

Hi I live in Canada I have a Google mini and today it is acting up I put it to factory set up but the orange lights will not go off it keeps telling me that the speaker is turned off in the meanwhile the speaker is turned on those orange lights will not leave I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in what could be wrong with it I don’t wanna have to buy a new one I am on a pension are you is it for medication purposes it tells me what times to take everything now I am messed up can’t use it now

I think the mic is turned off in your situation. Look for a switch on the device and flip it to the other direction.
Could you please tell me what I could do a factory reset my Google but it still will not go off the orange light I have tried to find videos about it and can’t find any I am visually impaired and need my Google mini because of medications it tells me what time doesn’t tell me that it’s for medicine it just tell me what time so I am really upset because I can’t get it to turn back on the microphone is on so don’t know what the problem is could you take me back and tell me what my problem could be
Visit the website below, just copy and paste it in a browser. Depending on the Google mini version you have the reset steps are different. Select the one you have and follow the steps.
If you have the original one, there is a small button on the back that is hard to see. You will have to hold it for a few about 12 seconds.
The newer model is a little harder to explain. Please see the websites.

It's been awhile since I made the video. Try contacting google, if that's still possible.
Honestly every few days just try the unplug and plugging. I remember mine just randomly started working.

Make sure the wire wire is plugged in properly. Try a different outlet.
Your unit might just be done. Either way get in touch with Google and see what they say before buying a new one!

There is a link in the description to connect with Google. I'm not sure if it still works ( they may have reworked their website). Get a hold of customer service at Google. There is an option to just chat with them through messaging if you prefer. Most iv waited is a few mins so it's very fast.
Let me know if you need help getting a hold of them. The website can be a bit tricky to navigate.

Does anyone know if the unplug-plug method works for the newer Mini Nest speaker? That one does not have a dedicated reset button and mine will not respond to any touch, voice, and it’s not recognized in the app... as of now I can’t do anything at all with it >:(
It's worth a try. Unplug and plug it like 20 times.... Wait a few days and it might just work. If not, reach out to Google. They may recommend other potential fixes.

Hey @Dash Car Productions nothing happened I contact google support executive Mark he said that he will extend my warranty for replacement, but as my product is out of warranty he replied to not replace it. Can you tell other method ?
Try plugging and unplugged about 10 times.

Try again tomorrow. Sometimes it will randomly start working. Your mini might just be completely done. Reset your router, reset the mini.

Contacted google nest team but telling it is out of warranty so unable to replace
I was able to work with someone from google and they will send a replacement.
For some reason it was bricked for me for about 15 min then it was fine after 🤔
I tried everything nothing is happening.....no white lights...only one green light is there as long as u press the reset button....it's been 7 months since this has happened...no replacement...

Ah that is unfortunate. Are you able to see the mini Google in the home app? Try rebooting it from there.
