@@Somber.Killer the changes to the UI sadly are pretty minimal it’s nothing worth a full showcase I’m afraid. Once the next load of changes drop if it’s a significant change I’ll do a showcase. Right now it’s just a few extra shortcuts and bug fixes

It's intended behaviour that Hunt compiles shaders in realtime instead of doing a pre-compilation phase, but unlike many Unreal Engine games where objects are rendered right away, which causes a stutter with shader compilation, Hunt doesn't render objects until it's compiled. It's a question of if you want objects to pop-in like this, wanting stutters when you switch to your knife (I'm taking this as an example because it's what was initially brought up) or if you want a 5-30min long pre-compilation phase before you can even start into your first round. If any other questions remain, I will happily reply here
@@luumitdoppelu8092 Though there was also the instances where the items never loaded, until you initiated the loading by changing graphics settings, for example. Was useful for some weapons like Nitro where having the gun model visible only blocks your vision.
Absolutely LOVE the visual upgrades they have been making for Hunt. However, ever since the update, I have had issues with losing players in the background, like the player models dont stand out like they used to. Makes some firefights frustrating
I honestly think them adding grass and crud everyone makes it look worse. Sure it’s more bayou accurate I suppose but having just clean stretches of water was great.

I'm so happy to have Stillwater back, but the one thing that confused me about the patch notes was "Decreased the chance to spawn in a corner compound in favor of more spawn fights." They want more spawn fights for some reason?.... Why?
I think with Mammons gulch especially people were complaining that the beginning sections of the rounds felt very empty as it was less likely to fight another team in the first compound so I guess it was to balance that out a bit. Since the 1896 relaunch I think I’ve only had like 2 spawn fights across the whole event which is significantly less then before. I doubt this change will drastically increase the chances but might mean it’s slightly more likely.

Almost every texture on the map has been redone, plus a large pass on vegetation and scatter detail, it might not look it without a comparison but there’s a lot that has changed visually. Crytek just released a comparison video showcasing the changes side by side.
As far as compound changes go, they’re actually very minimal. There’s only 3 compounds I believe that got new entrances and it was a single entrance each. Really nothing to worry about imo and definitely hasn’t “destroyed” the maps
As much as I agree Mammons Gulch is one of the better maps They’re not gonna just permanently delete 3 entire maps from the game and leave just 1 that would be insane and get repetitive. The other maps are great and have been a part of the game for 6 years love them or not variety is always important in an fps game.
Honestly dislike map 4 the most so I am glad stillwater is back even though there is no apparent reason why they had to be pulled from rotation anyway since the map changes are minimal

Me and my team fought 2 teams instantly near Preston Oil, after 5 minutes the 3rd team joined. I thought it's a bug or something
I dont understand the problem with spawn fights. Pvp is the best part of the game, spawn fights = more pvp

They should really change the ranking system. Make 10th prestige the final level up. 100 prestige is too much. Also, make a 2X XP event or booster
