If pull rates are 2-3 higher and harder to get... the cards should not be cheap 50 dollar cards... if u gotta buy 300-400 packs on average to get a good hit card that shiit should be worth 200+ when ur spending 400+ on boxes
Totally agree, unless your a retailer or a distributer, packs are expensive and you would want to sell it at a price to cover the cost of opening packs..manipulated or not, its willing buyer and willing seller..alt arts can be cheap but also really ex, its a demand thing..not just pokemon cards, will people buy from you based on pull rates? No...thus, everything is 'manipulated' by demand
I think its just FOMO. The prices dropped until release day and after everyone opened their initial products and pulled no SIR's they rushed to get these cards at $60 and it gave the cards a ridiculous jump. Also many Poketubers posted Vids showing how hard it is to pull these SIR's. I feel these cards will settle lower then the Roaring Moon from Paradox even with the crazy pull rates. Danny Phantump had to open 1853 packs to pull every card which is nuts. Poke Rev posted about not pulling any SIR's. I can see a large seller also buying a ton of these off TCG player knowing prices will rise as these cards aren't being pulled enough in the first couple weeks.
@@igamer28 they aren’t great like Lugia from Silver tempest, Charizard from Obsidian, Giratina from Lost origin, Mew from Paldean fates or even a IR like Magikarp from Paldea. The big chase cards from from Paradox, Temporal and the upcoming Twilight Masquerade are just good. They will never be like the classic characters.
But tbh, it makes sense if you have millions of cards list..if its not auto updated and if your selling much lower than market...isnt it becoming manipulation as well? It goes both ways i guess? FYI i'm not in any way a tcgplayer seller
In my opinion this isn’t a big deal. The only people who will be affected are people who fomo into things too quickly. I think most of us know to wait a good 6 months or so before buying a set/cards as print runs will bring it lower. Also to counter your print run claim about temporal forces. Nobody knows true print run data. This is all rumors. If Pokémon company sees more demand for this set they can just print more. It was probably initially printed less initially due to less demand in scarlet and violet. Regardless of all this just get a good deal on booster boxes/cases then sell in a couple years. Temporal forces is no exception
They can print more potentially but with scheduling and fixed line time (master scheduling done probably 6 months out), the likelihood of another new run is very unlikely with new set coming out in May, lines have already shifted probably 3 months out to account for distribution timing at least to meet the FAD (first arrival date) distributors can pick up.
Just an FYI, there is no direct auto-update on prices directly on TCG (I'm a level 4 seller). There are 3rd party application (like Binder POS) that can do it but nothing directly with them (or I'd be using it myself)
For starters talk before release was crowns art trumps leaves. PC tried to make Leaves #1, the people have spoken. Also supply and demand, tons of leaves sat on tcg unsold with ZERO Crown on tcg available at the 55 for days, there were none to buy... its demand! Not everything s a conspiracy.
I am seeing people sell Temporal Forces for super cheap like dirt cheap, sleeved single packs… by BULK. Any news people have been stealing Pokemon cards for profit?
Man, I hope prices level out but if pull rates are tough then I wouldn’t be surprised if they stay a little high. But I have to say this set has some of my favorite Pokémon and the want all 3 of the Gen 2 legendary dogs because those SIR look amazing. 🤩
bro its listing dude. there was no listing and demand outpaced the supply. it got bought out cause of pull rates are hard and listings couldn't keep up. Also the rumor is that iron crown will be the top card in rotation
Well honestly if you think about it.. ifv the pull rates are 2-3x higher then all scarlet and voilet special pulls.. then the cards should be 2-3x more valuable.. only makes sense
Teach your daughter not to steal. lol. If she’s old enough, march her back into the store to try and give it back or pay for it, then make her sell the alt and donate the money. That’s what I would do.
I hope to god it is shady manipulation because I can't go through another magikarp heartbreak.... that thing at a psa 10 cost as much as giratina v alt art psa 10. what is life?
I love this content. This is crazy and unfortunately a genius move. These individuals are ruining the collecting aspect of this set yet they are making crazy money on this set.
All these cards are overpriced. At most, these card should have stayed at $50 and woild still be there if it weren't for this shady sh!t people are doing. Sad.
I think people started pre-sales with the idea that pull rates would be the same. Once people started seeing pull rates not matching the value of what amount of packs it would take to pull the market corrected itself. First day I seen the top cards all at $50 and I bought my set at that time kind of seeing the writing on the wall from Danny phantump and pull rates. I'm glad I did.
Nah evolving skies was one of a kind and won't be matched for a long time. Temporal doesn't feature any desirable pokemon, like the eeveelutions, rayquaza etc. Nostalgia fuels desirability, and sadly paradox pokemon are very new, not everyone has played the most recent game and they likely won't be in any games in the future, so very few people care. Even if the pull rates are harder and print run shorter, you still need people to want the cards. This set will just blend in with the rest of the disappointing S&V sets so far. The next big set will be when they feature some Gen 1-3 pokemon again.
I pulled an Iron Crown SIR yesterday from a booster bundle.😁
Nice!

The swsh alt arts are much harder to pull than these SIRs . And most of those swsh alt are not worth a lot..
It will be that expensive eventually!
Dont we want sets to become cheaper? Not more expensive... so people and kids can actually afford to rip product to play the game?
im trying to master set, and the fact that the prices are being manipulated sucks.

These cards aren't good
Only make sense.. if shits being hard to pull that is common sense value should increase based on rarity
And eventually playability also

This is crazy - I had no idea that TCGplayer automatically updated listings 😳 and now they’re owned by eBay… interesting
Technically it’s a 3rd party extension app you can attach, but same same
But tbh, it makes sense if you have millions of cards list..if its not auto updated and if your selling much lower than market...isnt it becoming manipulation as well? It goes both ways i guess? FYI i'm not in any way a tcgplayer seller
It will cost you about 16,800$ to put a full set together by buying packs. Extremely hard set.
90 bucks for my funky boy Raging Bolt? Oh no.
lol right

Have they printed more of this set than others? If they have this would affect pull rates.
No. Less. But there can always be more printed.

Right, its a third party app, I was just trying to keep it really simple for everyone watching 😀
Quick question! Do you know if there is a setting to match the market price at midnight when it goes down?
Same thing. It will lower you to within 20% of it I think?
@@DrApplesauceTwo thanks!

@@DrApplesauceTwo and I told you the causation:)
That is really crazy to hear about this new set
It’s supply and demand. Nothing is ruined.
It makes sense and i hate that people try to ruin it for us players and collectors
There is no pleasing some people.
I am seeing people sell Temporal Forces for super cheap like dirt cheap, sleeved single packs… by BULK. Any news people have been stealing Pokemon cards for profit?
Awesome video! Great insight, i liked and subscribed. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for the sub!
Great info! U helped a lot of people from deciding to purchase that card now. Keep it up 👍🏻
Glad I could help!

Yes, they are pretty good lol.
People were mad the rates were easy now that they're hard they still mad like wth
TF might be short printed but pokemon never said it won’t get reprinted
Yup
bro its listing dude. there was no listing and demand outpaced the supply. it got bought out cause of pull rates are hard and listings couldn't keep up. Also the rumor is that iron crown will be the top card in rotation
personally like the iron leaves better
im prob going to buy the crown though. if it tanks I can buy another later on and lower my average. no biggie
good explanation on the manipulation.
Also I, (And other videos) agree Raging Bolt is the best art in the set.
100% agree
Usually prices drop after release weekend, but this is a bit out a double whammy scenario. So much for saving money buying singles! 🤷♂️
I think this one might be a weird one, especially once everything rotates
Well honestly if you think about it.. ifv the pull rates are 2-3x higher then all scarlet and voilet special pulls.. then the cards should be 2-3x more valuable.. only makes sense
My daughter stole a tin from dollar store, pulled aerodactyle alt… what should I do
Teach your daughter not to steal. lol.

Bought 4 boosters from target and hit Bianca sir , and the rest nothing ! Can’t complain
Not terrible
Temporal forces is another crimson invasion set.
wild how people are really manipulating the market with this set. Never seen this before
i heard crown was extremely playable in tcg
Do you think we have met a S&V “evolving skies” yet?
Idk. It’s too early to say. Evolving skies had BELOVED OG Pokemon in it, this is all newer Pokemon more or less.
You explaining how the auto price update happens really upsets me .
That’s my b
I hope to god it is shady manipulation because I can't go through another magikarp heartbreak.... that thing at a psa 10 cost as much as giratina v alt art psa 10. what is life?
Good lord
Iron Moon?
Coz it has a moon ? Next moonbreon copium😅😅
The only SV sets I open are 151 ans Paldean fates 😂
Hey I understand that lol

12 mins of vid that can be done in 2-3 minutes lol
Then do it. I’m just making videos I enjoy, not everyone in the world had TikTok brain.
I don’t even think that card is worth $40. Super ugly, no flex potential
Evolving skies 2.0 is my prediction!
Honestly, Im starting to think the same
