It's a 10 for me. His vocal control is outstanding. Adam can sing anything and that is what makes him so unique. He is getting rave reviews as the emcee in Cabaret.
Adam stars as the Emcee on Broadway right now. Started in Sept, his run goes through March. In the first act his character is free, flamboyant, cheeky as he interacts with the audience and characters on stage. It's set in Berlin in the late 1930s and things are about to drastically change. In the second act, the mood is flipped on its ear as the Nazis take over and their free lifestyle could cost them their lives. This is the Emcee's last song, resigning himself to the fact that life has changed and will never be the same again. This mood is rising again in the US for many after the last election, making the story heartbreakingly relevant. Adam speaks and sings thru the show with a German accent but they released a more contemporary looking/sounding version. He's been getting stellar reviews, even mentioning he's the first actor playing the role who is, in real life, Jewish and gay like his character, adding a layer to his portrayal. So happy you were able to react to this. It's amazing how removing facial hair can help the years drop. When he first started he dyed his hair strawberry blonde (actually close to his natural colour) and he looked even younger...and so much like his dad LOL
Adam is on Broadway now, and here he embodies his character, in a Berlin night club, suppressed by the Nazis, so he is very sad and depressed and suppressed. He is BRILLIANT in this role!
Madi G… you really opened up their eyes & ears to Adam’s diverse talent. Reaction to “Lay Me Down” at Avici tribute concert has never been done by anyone yet. They would enjoy this spectacular performance, especially with backing orchestra instrumentation.
Oh I've watched this multiple times now. How he plays to the camera with all that beautiful makeup and his voice is superb! This is fantastic!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Edit - this song and performance goes to 11.❤
They transformed tge August Wilson theater to a theater in the round and made it The Kit Kat Club. The audience is a part of the production of the show and the actors play off the audience.
Lots of makeup. Always. His facial skin is not good. I don’t think he appears in public anywhere without it. Probably why he enjoys glam rock so much; no one thinks twice of his makeup.
Oh wow i LOVE this! Gorgeous song, gorgeous character. He looks great! Good one, Madi G! Thanks and thanks BP's. Cabaret is definitely one of my favorite shows, along with Fiddler on the Roof and my all-time fav, JC Superstar. But I've never seen Adam do this part and WOW! Fantastic!❤❤❤❤
Adam Lambert: " 'I Don't Care Much' is a torch song dealing with indifference that comes at a point in the show where all hope and joy has been elipsed by the presence of Nazi forces in Berlin".
Having seen the film version with Liza Minnelli wouldn't help you with this song, as it was not included in the film. The corridor where this video was filmed is actually from the theatre where the current production of Cabaret, starring Adam, is playing in NYC, and has been dressed up to look like the entrance to a nightclub.
Old Adam? Adam has matured and his incredible voice has just become more expertly used to do just about any style of singing. His embrace of the character shows he can act as well. He’s primarily glam rock but obviously he doesn’t stay inside of any box. No autotune. He’s one of the top voices of this century. I really don’t agree with your ratings. You won’t be able to find anyone else who can sing this as perfectly or expertly as him today.
Eddie Redmayne specially attended clown school for this role, but Adam has an innate talent : voice, body language, plasticity - all this is fascinating. By the way, our table was next to the stage and Lambert often came up to us ( I never thought he was so handsome) pretending that he wanted to have a drink with us. The first act is entertaining, but in the second act, Lambert turns into a monster, a kind of Pennywise, who gives you the creeps just by looking at him. I'm not a fan of musicals, to my surprise, l really enjoyed it
Thank you for another Adam reaction! ☺️ He looks younger because he shaved his beard. Adam is a chameleon! 🦎 I see other people have already given you the low down on the context of the song so I won't go into that lol.
Broadway is certainly good, but why is there so little reaction to Q+AL? It's a big part of Adam, Brian and Roger's live. And even though their most popular and viewed videos are blocked, they still have it: " Dont Stop Me Now" (live At Rock in Rio Lisbon), "Stone Cold Crazy", "Fat Bottomed Girls" and "I Was Born To Love You" ( Live At Summer Sonic Festival), " Love Kills" ( Heart Radio), " Is This The World We Created"( Osaka 2024), " I Want It All" ( Tokyo Dome Day 1)- This voice is extraordinare! And how cool he sang on the American Idol " I Can't Stand The Rain"! To hell with this wild makeup, eccentric Lambert loves to shock the audience, but what a performance!th-cam.com/video/4i7Nv36nZBU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=3RD9j8KiF5nkryC5
A once-in-a-lifetime voice/performer!

The live version when je sings in character is even better!
Thanks guys for covering more fabulous Adam- and thanks Maddie G for for requesting another amazing Adam video ❤️❤️❤️-
Madi G… you really opened up their eyes & ears to Adam’s diverse talent. Reaction to “Lay Me Down” at Avici tribute concert has never been done by anyone yet. They would enjoy this spectacular performance, especially with backing orchestra instrumentation.
I agree, I love Adam in this tribute Avici Lay me Down. Is beautiful

Adam without the beard. Looks so young!

@@holdon4992 you are wrong, He Often appears without makeup outside KitKat club and he looks great. Beautiful always.
Great singing and emotion. Video shot well too even if it was simple.

I would love to see this in New York and he has gotten rave reviews but tickets are hard to get with him.

8.7 is low, guys. For me 10 as always!

i'm so annoyed Adam won't be eligable for a Tony because Eddie was the original Emcee on Broadway for this production :/
Love your show
Happy new year brit pop reacts

George Mikael? Nop. Adam Lambert is unic. This voice is beautiful.
Guys, please react to Adam’s Avicii tribute concert performance of “Lay Me Down”, which he co wrote with Avicii and Niles Rodgers.
It’s out already :) check out the channel, thanks for watching 👍🏻👍🏻

👍👏👏👏
Adam is of course amazing in this but this type of music is not my cup of tea.😊
