except torn doesnt have an incredibly weak turret. you cant pen torns turret unluess ur t9 or 10 spamming GOLD. you need t10 gold to pen torns turret. torvagn is overpowered pay to win adn they even adverstised it as such

BZ-176 is absolutely broken even in the hands of shitters because of the huge alpha and high penetration on its HE. A bad player in a BZ will still do better than a bad player in a 703 II, or Renegade, or any other premium tier 8 HT, because all they have to do is load HE, look for the green spot on your tank and shoot, and they will rarely get punished in return because of the tank's great frontal armour on both the turret AND the hull.

203mm standard pen -6 gundepression. Hard pass. Double penetrator will be better in every way.
Yeah, other than side armor it is for sure. This tank sucks.
It had even thicker armor, it seems they just nerfed it for this auction. Previously the lower plate thickness was the same as the upper plate, you couldn't pen it when you were facing it directly without gold. At a good enough angle, you couldn't pen it WITH gold.
Seems like wargaming are coming to their senses

fun fact, hull is litterally the IS-4 (pre buff) version, but it's the IS-3 modified model 78 turret. With classic 122mm D-25T (same as every 390 alpha damage russian heavy pretty much)
And worse pen. Another tank to spam gold with. Then again, people spam gold even with sweed td....

What I dont like about the sidescraping playstyle is being permanently tracked. Also 2k dpm is kinda low. especially with that penetration and gunhandling.
repair skills and hardening fixes that.
Finally a premium tank that doesn't powercreep the game.
But are we not shooting ourselves in the leg by constantly saying this tank is crap (it's below average because of the powercreep)?
This is like asking WG to keep printing OP premium tanks, since noone is going to buy this one (because you keep calling it crap)
I guarantee people are going to drop 20-30k gold on this tank. Purely because it's new.
But it is crap. Horrible gun, slow and the armor is worthless because of the turret. A tank can be good without pushing the powercreep (T832 for example)
Most premium tanks are trash because they meet tier x tanks in 50% of the games and tier 6 tanks in 2% of the games

That thing can barely go faster than the T28 td with a turbo. Without the turbo it's probably slower than the t28

@@serlGlent I miss more when I'm shooting at zig zagging light tanks, but I'm hitting and penning a lot more of my TD snipe shots. My DPM has gone up slightly, buuut I'm also legally blind, so maybe it's just helping a certain type of player. Ty for the feedback.

New better defender? Bcs defender can be also penetrated to the turret but the K-2 has better sidescrape. Still the defender hits harder
Tbh, if they want tanks like this to be ideal short range brawlers, they should not r@pë their movement dispersion and accuracy at the same time, just the accuracy. It would make the experience so much better.
Yeah, sure, a heavy has 0.44 accuracy but at least it's movement dispersion is pretty good.

It's same as tornvagn. you just drive to another point on the map and sidescrape there instead of peeking
except tornvagn doesnt have an easy to pen roof, is actually overpowered pay to win tank unlike k2 which is just a worse defender.

I remember when IS-4 had the same weak spot: supper annoying and nearly unplayable. And that was way back when not that many people could afford to shoot gold.
tornvagn is overpowered and they buffed it just like they buffed overpowered pay to win turtle 1. game takes no skill nothing but overpowered premium tanks that require no skill

Honestly, I actually like this. It's much better than almost any other Soviet tier 8 heavy for MM health (unfortunately, they are so many T8 premium tanks that one new does not make any difference) as it has a fucking weak spot that's bigger than a pixel on 100 inch screen.
However, for every poor soul who gets this - well, money well spent. Just get yourself Defender and you'll get almost the same armor efficiency and much smaller weak spot plus 440 alfa gun.
At least it's balanced (in WOT -> balanced = shitty).

It won't be annoying to play against unless you are under tier 8 or just have absolute dogshit pen. But even then it has quite big turret weakspots, IS-4 has much smaller weakspots than this tank with similar armor for the tier and it's not annoying to play against
I don't understand these criticisms sometimes... If the tank is "well armored" with no obvious weak spots, then it's broken. If the roof/lower plate is penetratable, it's a pile of kaku... What do we want, then? Also... tank is paper if a TIER X loads GOLD (and btw, 113 with 340 pen...), well you don't say! This one looks kind of balanced to me...
At least it's not another BZ. And this thought might be a problem. At this moment we're like, "if it's not like the BZ, then it's fine" which might not always be the case...

Defender is just flat out better.
The combination of that gun handling and garbage view range won't be verry fun on the bigger maps. Or if you are one of the last tanks left and you can't spot anyone :/
I like this tank.
Yes, its gun is bad so is his mobility, but it has armor... And yes, you can penetrate its cupola and engine deck, show me a tank that is not posible to penetrate...
Anyway, overal, this is the best armor on lvl 8. Just took a master - for 3.5k damage dealt and 11k+ damage mitigated (a battle with 8 and 9 levels).
So that's basically it - it's a vehicle to tank damage, not to make it, if you like this - you will like this tank.
What do you think a winning bet could be? It starts at 8k gold. Looking at the stats it's basically a Defender gun handling with the same dispersion, better aim time and worse bloom on the move.
On ASIA server the tank is 130,000 exp = ~4000 gold with the current 35-1 discount... so for 8K gold on EU... totally not worth it
Min will be 8000 and thats far from worth it. It being a better Defender is not worth much because the Defender itself is not that good in 2023.
@@San4311 lol, better than defender XD About equal armor (Defender has better front hull, but worse side), Defender has a better gun by a lot, more view range and is faster.
