A sick game designed by the mentally ill and dementia! Enemy tank can turned invisible after I have spotting it, but the tank still able to fire at my tank right after after it has turned invisible! the tank is right in front of my line of sight, the enemy tank couldn’t be seen until it’s been spotted by my team mate again - despite I could see all the trees and scenery around the invisible tank.
to be fair, any autoloader has quite a low skill floor, especially if they have high burst dmg... 1 clip in that thing is almost 1.6k dmg, thats halfway to a good game. Hit 2 of those clips with a descent number of pens and you're done. Thing is, its skill ceiling is enormous, you have a lot of hp to play with, amazing accuracy for a french autoloader, the potential to almost any t8 tank in 1 clip, speed, somewhat nice gun dp and armor when using it. It's just such a versatile vehicle. The way I described it to my friend was: imagine if the best parts of a bc 25, udes 14/15 and su-130 got combined into one vehicle...

Saying the 1B is better than the Phase I is just like saying a Defender is better than the IS-3 Ofc the Concept is better, its borderline overpowerd, it has great armor (bcz it doesnt rly have a turret), very good speed and a good gun. Is there anything more to say?

Its a meta tank, decent, but no great hull, awesome turret armor with really small weakspot and reliable gun with good depression. U cant do badly in that

I got the Char Futur after Frontlines, and I love it. It is a great tank. Run turbocharger, purple optics, purple vstab. 6 skill crew, food. I picked up the AE Phase 1 after Steel Hunter, and I love it. It also is a great tank. Run turbocharger, rammer, vstab. 4 skill crew, food. Love both tanks for different reasons.
the 36s reload is worse. with 4s intraclip the tanks reload at like 32s would be "decent" ... far from OP or something.. just a boost that had to happen
i bought the phase 1 and the Char. I haven't tried the Futur 4 yeat but the Phase is really fun and a nice tank with excellent gun and turret. Worth the grind!
Even though I know I'll be absolutely terrible in it, if they bring back the Char 4, I think I'll actually grind out frontline for it. It just seems so unique compared to a hull down American heavy or yet another Russian heavy.
Something I think should be mentioned for the AE Phase 1 is that the gun handling is simply fantastic. I don't use any equipment to boost it and I still feel like it handles much better than other Tier 9 heavies that DO use equipment for gun handling. It also can theoretically achieve the fastest possible repair speed in the game thanks to its special large repair kit, which gives it a 15% boost to repair speed instead of the 10% the standard large repaid kit gives.
Im a nooob I picked the char, and Im doing really well, because the 30sec im sitting there waiting for a reaload basically feel like „browsing“ for available targets, and when Im shooting i basically know what I need to do. I dunno. Maybe it just for me, but I still recommwnd trying it.
As someone with only 7k battles over the last 7 years, and is finally getting back into it. I'll be choosing the AE for the battle pass tokens this year, one of my goals in the game is to research the whole American tech tree and I haven't started heavies yet so to be able to train those crews will be really nice!
Would be cooler if the Phase I having four tracks had some effect on its play/stats. Like really good hull traverse and ground resistances values, or better dispersion due to being a more stable gun platform or whatever.
Picked up Char Futur 4. One of the most fun tanks in the whole game! It's a damn sniper tank with an autoloader, mobility, size and camo gives you advantage to take fast a good position in the bushes and snipe the enemy with 1,4k m/s velocity rounds.
Got so tired from grinding Frontline to get the AE Phase I... stopped playing for two full weeks after... exhausted. New FL and Steel Hunter for the other two were a breeze in comparison
I think AE phase one should get a new system, Where if lets say right track is hit from the front the 1st set drop. Although u can move be it at much slower rate however repair wont be done unless the vehicle is stationary. But if you like to move to lets say behind a cover or some place nearby where is safer you can do it with MUCH LESS speed and power.
Personally, I think all quad-track tanks (AE Phase 1, Object 279e, and T95, plus any others that might get added in the future like AE Phase 2) should get that.
Char future can be really difficult if you're in the end game and you get rushed by multiple tanks, especially on a small map. Other than that, it's awesome.
i just want to say , i find the object 777 a pretty decent tank, the gun kind of sucks, but with new equipment it makes it okay-ish, if you can stay at medium range with the 777, it's really good, i block more then my hp every battle, the only thing that really gets frustrating is the gun missing a lot, but if you move up , you will start getting penned immediately
i wish i could've got myself over the sh grind to put that 777 II in my garage, but damn, i never hated playing a game mode as much as steel hunter. i'd rather had 4 additional frontline events, because there you could at least grind tanks, credits, etc. if the game doesn't go your way.

Never played the AE Phase I but I'm pretty sure statistically it is the best. . . 777 though feels so solid for me and I do very well in it. I mean, it's gameplay is kinda like Conqueror (those high tier british heavies) and those tanks are the best performing really. And I'd say the reason is mostly good dpm, good gun handling, good upper plate armor, godlike turret with gun depression. Yea, you've got a lower plate to worry about, but so does every other tank. And if you've got a strong upper plate that's hard to pen you're essentially any other tank but with gun depression and gun. And yea, this is a trend. Concept 1b and Chieftan both do the same (Although Chieftan actually gives up upper hull armor for... well... cracked out other stats). And before those tanks Sconq was the strongest. And before that, remember the cupola buffed E5
The lower upper plate is 120.7mm thick on the AE Phase 1 and decently but less angled than higher up, so it's ~230mm effective thickness, the lower plate is 171.5mm thick at a slight angle which gives you around 200mm effective armor head on. Funny enough, the M103's lower beak that used to be around 280mm effective was actually nerfed to around 240mm effective when it was "buffed".
I LOVE my new Char futur! I already have a Patriot and that shielded IS so this was a good pick. Also char futur is the most novel tank out of the three. Char futur will teach you to be more aware and to pick good positions on different maps. You always need to think about your reload and the escape windows which require a lot of predicting and looking at the map. I've been doing better in it than in my other tier 9 tanks apart from t54. I am an average player with around 50% recent wins and 8k games. The tank is fun and has an awesome gun with 264mm of pen what more do you need?
These heavies look good, but I'm not much of a heavy tank player, too slow for me. So it's Char Futur, no question about. Tier 10 medium tank damage, penetration AND 1400 ms shell velocity at tier 9 is just too good to refuse!
I already had the AE phase 1 from last year, but i also had a dream back in October 2019, i would traverse over the 1-2 line on Prok from the north in the Obj 777. Next year they announced the Obj 777 being a Frontline Reward tank so i grinded for it, on game 6 with the Obj 777 i spawned of the northern side of Prok. I originally went 9-0 line at the start of the battle, but once half of the enemy team was dealt with the rest were on the 2 line pushing into our base. So the dream came true, i went over the road and rammed a 430 and used its corpse to side scrape against the Jagd Tiger, eventually i died but it didn't matter. The match was a victory....and i could rest knowing the prophecy came true. Like a weight lifted from my shoulders, 9 years of playing WoT just suddenly disappeared and i've barely played the game since. But i collect light tanks so if there is a grind from one, i'm there.
With the the AE Phase 1 I expected WG to give it a unique feature much like the Swedish Medium and Tank Destroyer lines. Like how cool would it be if WG gave the tank the ability to oscillate it's front and rear tracks to the left or right and strafe right or left while keeping it's frontal armor pointed in one direction?
For anyone who cares, I use Vents in the boost slot, Bounty Coated Optics, and then Improved Aiming Class 1 (the one that makes the aim circle smaller) on my Char Futur 4.
I got all three, and I like all three! They are all good tanks in my book! AE Phase I, Char Futur 4, then Object 777 II for me. (Order of when I got them, and order of which ones I like more surprisingly.)
I am a free to play player as well and i have picked the object. First 10 games 9 wins, average of 2500 dmg two ace tankers. Iam just an slightly above average player with 52% winrate an like 2700 WN8. I got mad games with 10k combined. It just works so well and idk why.
I have the Char Futur and AE Phase I, and I agree that the AE Phase I is a friendly tank for all, but for all those new players out there, they'll have to know the weak points of the tier 9 and 10 heavy tanks.
I think the ae phase 1 was the best choice for me, I really feel the ability to snapshot was the best choice. The 777 is a very good choice aswell, you can over angle when sidescraping and that 440 alpha is amazing. But when I load heat in the ae phase 1 I can pen the 777 turret. It’s because the 777 is just such a low tank the angle messes the turret up
@@heroninja1125 there’s nothing the 777 can do that the ae phase 1 unless it’s sidescraping, it has a better hull and it has Russian rng. It has better dpm, better aim time, 777 has 10% better alpha but has 20% longer loading speed. It has gun depression and it has better turret armour
For me i skipped on the phase cause ill have the concept 1b only need one token, so two tier 9 American heavies seemed dumb but if i didnt do rank i would've picked the phase over the 777.
I picked the AE Phase I and the Char Futur and didn't bother for the Object 777 II because it's just another soviet heavy. Out of the two I picked I would choose the AE. The Char just doesn't fit my playstyle and I didn't have an American heavy yet.
Honestly AE-Phase could be better than the Concept, the concept has 0 armor of you fire any type of gold at its turret, but you actually have to aim at the AE turret. It is also faster than most other comparable tier 9 heavies, like the Conq and the M103
For my pick it was a tough choice between the AE Phase I and Char Futur 4. I always told my self if I ever got the tokens I would get the AE Phase 1 cause of how neat and cool it looked with the 4 tank tracks. But I just ended up going with the Char Futur 4 because I have a number of heavy tanks that I've been grinding on. But really the only medium tank I own is the Guard. So getting the Char will definitely help me fill out my profile more. Thank you QuickBaby for yet another awesome video. i chose 777 II in phase 3 of sh because i only got to do phase 4 of fl, was a very hard choice against the AE but i needed a russian heavy and am happy with the choice
I really enjoyed the first week of steel hunter and the second one was okay, but I really couldn't get myself to complete the third one. Especially after they reduced the number of points you gained from missions.
@@GunnarDresler I was in top 3 in over half of my games. But in the first week I just played enough every day to get most of the mission points and whatever I got from the battles and I did it in 3 days with just a few games each day. The amount of battles needed over doubled when they nerfed the mission points. And while it would've been easily doable (at least easier than marathons) it just became such a chore I didn't bother finishing it.
It's me from the Future ;) Well now we can get all 3 again with the new BP ;) I am leaning towards the AE, as I have spare crew, as I just got the Boyz pkg etc, so thinking of putting Homeland etc in the AE... I also like simpler tanks and ridge line warriors ;) Tanks for sharing, QB!
Hey guys, this is my first week of Wot after watching 5 years of QB vids and streams :-) As first techtree Im grinding Soviet and Im at the T-44 at tier 8 now. Should I go for the 430/U line or T-54/obj 140? And what equipement to use on the T-44 and above? So many questions but any tips are welcome :-) Also I only gotten 2 tokens from Steel Hunter, how can I get more? Thanks in advance guys :-)
The 140 has much better gun stats while the 430U got the better armor. The 430 is very strong against lower tiered opponents as many T8s will even struggle to go through your upper plate with gold loaded. The 140 will have to look out not to expose too much even against T8s. But it got substantially better DPM (but only 320 alpha compared to the 440 of the U) and much better gun handling and is more mobile. What better suits you is up to you thou. The equipment strongly depends on the crew you can put into the tank. If you got a BiA crew which has both situational awareness and recon you can do some funky stuff in the 140 as it doesn't necessarily need vert. stabs due to the good dispersion values. You can get up to 442m (462 with prem consumable) spotting range with just vents and hence you got a slot for playing around. Like using a commanders vision device which can be very strong especially against enemy lights. On the 430 i wouldn't go without vert stabs thou. As for Steel Hunter .. sorry if you didn't play any Frontlines or Steelhunter this year other than this one week you can't get the tanks. You'll get the tokens converted to bonds in December.
I think at first the Obj. 430 is better, because you dont need to unlock a bigger gun or turret. (Stock tracks and engine are almost as good as the top ones)
If I understand correctly, if you don't spend your tokens on any of the tanks, they will eventually be converted into bonds right? 250 per token I presume?
I picked 777 and I'm really happy tbh. It has extremely trollish side armor (I bounced while going completely sideways (not sidescrapping) tanks like 704, 50TP, WT auf. Pz IV, 277 etc. and not once) when hide your lower plate hull is extremelly tough (I bounced jg. pz e100 to hull for example), turret... is tough but there are 2 weakspots not that hard to hit (cuppola and that commander thingy from which he is watching) and you can get overmarched by 150+ calliber guns into turret, but noone ever did that to me so far..., gun handling is typical russian but I recommend to use either stabilizer or improved rotation mechanism. Speed is really good and tracks... you will be tracked quite often or you will have damaged tracks becouse tank is long. In other way it will save you quite often becouse they will not pen you and your armor will absorb those shells = track or damaged track.

So am i doing it wrong ....crew training .....a premium you should train all crews for all tanks in that tank ?? And then move them when at 100% ?? But do they not drop when you train them when you have moved them ???
I just want one thing. What mod do I need to be able to hit where I aim? My shells come out sideways in ALL of my tanks. Making this game just a good way to get pissed off. So seriously. How do your shells hit where you aim. What's the secret. And been here since the beginning and have over 40 tier tens. just tired of missing over and over.

Char Futur 4 is an amazing sniper. same gun as the AMX CDA 105 TD with similar accuracy. love both tanks.

I chose the AE since I got the Char last year and I haven’t ground down the American heavy line yet. Keep up the great work QB!

And if you've got a strong upper plate that's hard to pen you're essentially any other tank but with gun depression and gun. And yea, this is a trend. Concept 1b and Chieftan both do the same (Although Chieftan actually gives up upper hull armor for... well... cracked out other stats). And before those tanks Sconq was the strongest. And before that, remember the cupola buffed E5
The lower upper plate is 120.7mm thick on the AE Phase 1 and decently but less angled than higher up, so it's ~230mm effective thickness, the lower plate is 171.5mm thick at a slight angle which gives you around 200mm effective armor head on. Funny enough, the M103's lower beak that used to be around 280mm effective was actually nerfed to around 240mm effective when it was "buffed".
I LOVE my new Char futur! I already have a Patriot and that shielded IS so this was a good pick. Also char futur is the most novel tank out of the three. Char futur will teach you to be more aware and to pick good positions on different maps. You always need to think about your reload and the escape windows which require a lot of predicting and looking at the map. I've been doing better in it than in my other tier 9 tanks apart from t54. I am an average player with around 50% recent wins and 8k games. The tank is fun and has an awesome gun with 264mm of pen what more do you need?
These heavies look good, but I'm not much of a heavy tank player, too slow for me. So it's Char Futur, no question about. Tier 10 medium tank damage, penetration AND 1400 ms shell velocity at tier 9 is just too good to refuse!

I already had the AE phase 1 from last year, but i also had a dream back in October 2019, i would traverse over the 1-2 line on Prok from the north in the Obj 777.
Next year they announced the Obj 777 being a Frontline Reward tank so i grinded for it, on game 6 with the Obj 777 i spawned of the northern side of Prok. I originally went 9-0 line at the start of the battle, but once half of the enemy team was dealt with the rest were on the 2 line pushing into our base. So the dream came true, i went over the road and rammed a 430 and used its corpse to side scrape against the Jagd Tiger, eventually i died but it didn't matter. The match was a victory....and i could rest knowing the prophecy came true.
Like a weight lifted from my shoulders, 9 years of playing WoT just suddenly disappeared and i've barely played the game since. But i collect light tanks so if there is a grind from one, i'm there.
I just inlocked the Char Futur 4 today and now have all three of them, damn I'm glad that grind is over.
I'd like to see a t9 prem Japanese medium reward tank. Wonder if we'd ever get one.

With the the AE Phase 1 I expected WG to give it a unique feature much like the Swedish Medium and Tank Destroyer lines. Like how cool would it be if WG gave the tank the ability to oscillate it's front and rear tracks to the left or right and strafe right or left while keeping it's frontal armor pointed in one direction?
What I would like to see is it not getting tracked.
For anyone who cares, I use Vents in the boost slot, Bounty Coated Optics, and then Improved Aiming Class 1 (the one that makes the aim circle smaller) on my Char Futur 4.

I got all three, and I like all three! They are all good tanks in my book! AE Phase I, Char Futur 4, then Object 777 II for me. (Order of when I got them, and order of which ones I like more surprisingly.)

I am a free to play player as well and i have picked the object. First 10 games 9 wins, average of 2500 dmg two ace tankers. Iam just an slightly above average player with 52% winrate an like 2700 WN8. I got mad games with 10k combined. It just works so well and idk why.
I have the Char Futur and AE Phase I, and I agree that the AE Phase I is a friendly tank for all, but for all those new players out there, they'll have to know the weak points of the tier 9 and 10 heavy tanks.
Some of us don't play Ranked battles to I got the AE Phase 1.

I think the ae phase 1 was the best choice for me, I really feel the ability to snapshot was the best choice. The 777 is a very good choice aswell, you can over angle when sidescraping and that 440 alpha is amazing. But when I load heat in the ae phase 1 I can pen the 777 turret. It’s because the 777 is just such a low tank the angle messes the turret up
actually its because the 777 turret cheeks are only 258mm thick and completely flat
@@heroninja1125 there’s nothing the 777 can do that the ae phase 1 unless it’s sidescraping, it has a better hull and it has Russian rng. It has better dpm, better aim time, 777 has 10% better alpha but has 20% longer loading speed. It has gun depression and it has better turret armour
For me i skipped on the phase cause ill have the concept 1b only need one token, so two tier 9 American heavies seemed dumb but if i didnt do rank i would've picked the phase over the 777.

Picked the CF4, love it so far
I picked the AE Phase I and the Char Futur and didn't bother for the Object 777 II because it's just another soviet heavy. Out of the two I picked I would choose the AE. The Char just doesn't fit my playstyle and I didn't have an American heavy yet.
Honestly AE-Phase could be better than the Concept, the concept has 0 armor of you fire any type of gold at its turret, but you actually have to aim at the AE turret. It is also faster than most other comparable tier 9 heavies, like the Conq and the M103
For my pick it was a tough choice between the AE Phase I and Char Futur 4. I always told my self if I ever got the tokens I would get the AE Phase 1 cause of how neat and cool it looked with the 4 tank tracks. But I just ended up going with the Char Futur 4 because I have a number of heavy tanks that I've been grinding on. But really the only medium tank I own is the Guard. So getting the Char will definitely help me fill out my profile more. Thank you QuickBaby for yet another awesome video. i chose 777 II in phase 3 of sh because i only got to do phase 4 of fl, was a very hard choice against the AE but i needed a russian heavy and am happy with the choice

I really enjoyed the first week of steel hunter and the second one was okay, but I really couldn't get myself to complete the third one. Especially after they reduced the number of points you gained from missions.
Just outlive people to get into top three. Especially if you lack behind in the first minutes it is the way to go. 200 points are easy made
@@GunnarDresler I was in top 3 in over half of my games. But in the first week I just played enough every day to get most of the mission points and whatever I got from the battles and I did it in 3 days with just a few games each day. The amount of battles needed over doubled when they nerfed the mission points. And while it would've been easily doable (at least easier than marathons) it just became such a chore I didn't bother finishing it.

Of course, and its own damage roll as well. Its two different shells with all that belongs to it.

As first techtree Im grinding Soviet and Im at the T-44 at tier 8 now. Should I go for the 430/U line or T-54/obj 140?
And what equipement to use on the T-44 and above? So many questions but any tips are welcome :-)
Also I only gotten 2 tokens from Steel Hunter, how can I get more?

The 140 has much better gun stats while the 430U got the better armor.
The 430 is very strong against lower tiered opponents as many T8s will even struggle to go through your upper plate with gold loaded.
The 140 will have to look out not to expose too much even against T8s. But it got substantially better DPM (but only 320 alpha compared to the 440 of the U) and much better gun handling and is more mobile.
What better suits you is up to you thou.
The equipment strongly depends on the crew you can put into the tank.
If you got a BiA crew which has both situational awareness and recon you can do some funky stuff in the 140 as it doesn't necessarily need vert. stabs due to the good dispersion values. You can get up to 442m (462 with prem consumable) spotting range with just vents and hence you got a slot for playing around. Like using a commanders vision device which can be very strong especially against enemy lights.
On the 430 i wouldn't go without vert stabs thou.
As for Steel Hunter .. sorry if you didn't play any Frontlines or Steelhunter this year other than this one week you can't get the tanks. You'll get the tokens converted to bonds in December.
I think at first the Obj. 430 is better, because you dont need to unlock a bigger gun or turret.
(Stock tracks and engine are almost as good as the top ones)
AE phase and The 777v2 were my 2 picks since I missed the AE last Frontline. The steel hunter grind was horrible for me but I managed it

I picked 777 and I'm really happy tbh. It has extremely trollish side armor (I bounced while going completely sideways (not sidescrapping) tanks like 704, 50TP, WT auf. Pz IV, 277 etc. and not once) when hide your lower plate hull is extremelly tough (I bounced jg. pz e100 to hull for example), turret... is tough but there are 2 weakspots not that hard to hit (cuppola and that commander thingy from which he is watching) and you can get overmarched by 150+ calliber guns into turret, but noone ever did that to me so far..., gun handling is typical russian but I recommend to use either stabilizer or improved rotation mechanism. Speed is really good and tracks... you will be tracked quite often or you will have damaged tracks becouse tank is long. In other way it will save you quite often becouse they will not pen you and your armor will absorb those shells = track or damaged track.

Concept 1b has significantly less armour plus it has a shot trap at the front of the turret.
The appeal of the 1b is the gun similarly to a fv215b

No, premium can only train the same class (medium, heavy, etc.) per Nation.

I just want one thing. What mod do I need to be able to hit where I aim? My shells come out sideways in ALL of my tanks. Making this game just a good way to get pissed off. So seriously. How do your shells hit where you aim. What's the secret. And been here since the beginning and have over 40 tier tens. just tired of missing over and over.
