The sport mode does not change the handling of your car. That is only for the top of the line Accord touring 2.0. The touring has an Adaptive suspension the shocks will firm up in sport mode.
I just purchased the exact same car you have on 12/27/22. I purchased a 2016 Civic DX 4/16 and traded it in for the 2.0. I am stunned at how fast and beautiful this car is.
I agree that the sport mode is much more responsive compared to just normal. In Econ mode it is very slow to respond and I don’t really like it. I also have a 2018 accord sport with the 1.5.

Hey Jay, I just bought a 2022 honda accord sport same color as yours. I have a question I hope you can assist. When I plug in my phone waze and or maps comes up on the screen but with no turn by turn direction sound, I've turned up my phone and car volume but still nothing. If I'm playing music from my phone it comes through the car speakers but not for waze or maps. Any suggestions?
Hello Rohan, Hmm Maybe You Can Check The Sound Settings On Your Phone Before You Plug It In or You Can Check The Sound Settings On The Touch Screen. Hope This Helps!
@Popular Loner Jay I have turned up the volume in my waze settings on my phone also the volume on my phone and my car. My device microphone is turned on, I have tried a different navigation voice and I have uninstalled and reinstalled Waze and Android multiple times, I have used the USB cable that came with my phone plus other USB cables. Still Waze isn't given me turn by turn voice navigation. Whenever I'm playing music from my phone either music that's on my phone or from TH-cam Waze would freeze up but if I pause the music then Waze would update itself to my present drive but would freeze up again, also sometimes the Waze maps screen would dissappear leaving a black screen with only the icons underneath. I do get music and phone calls but as I said no Waze voice. When my phone is connected and I press the talk button on my car to give my destination I hear the beep but nothing else. I don't know what else to do.

That color is a huge plus , sorry not a fan of 1.5 lot of complaints even heard people have replaced it , another downside is the horrible road noise , ..rest all is good . well on NOV 2022 the 2023 is gonna come out with 12 inch google built touch screen lets c how's that new design compared to our gen , anyways enjoy ur ride .AND NEXT TIME TAKE THE 2.0 YOU WONT REGRET IT .👍👍
