As a woman who suffered through the foster system because my bio mother was terribly unfit to care for any child, I’m still waiting for anti-abortion folk to create effective, humane solutions for the amount of foster children that have always been in existence. In other words, there have always been too many foster children and not enough qualified homes for them to go to…are these issues being addressed or is forcing women to birth unwanted children their magical solution? Either way, know this: Children suffer. An undeveloped fetus can’t. Forcing these pregnancies is downright criminal.

How judgemental! It’s not always about who you sleep with or birthcontrol. Many women cannot take birthconrol, why not put the onus on men? Give them free vasectomies when they are young so they can’t get anyone pregnant. It is reversible when they are responsible enough to have children with a woman who wants them. A Lot less abused children and help solve the 700,000 Foster children who age out of fostercare with nowhere to go

Doctors who don't want to perform abortions because it is against their conscience don't have to.
Why should doctors whose consciences dictate they not turn patients away be denied the same validity? Why should they be prevented by law from following THEIR consciences when a proven treatment is available?
Only a particular sector of doctors are being allowed to practice according to their conscience. The rest are being forced to abandon their patients against their consciences.

if your conscience has religious infringement, do not become a doctor. Go preach somewhere , you have no place in a hospital.
Abortion is legal in my country . A couple of years ago a case went viral ... a young lady died in the hospital . She was misscarrieing , but not quick enough, so she needed emergency abortion to stop her from bleeding out. The doctour said it was against his religion to perform the abortion (MUSLIM- if you are wandering ...)
The nurses said the husband cried in his knees on the hallways , BEGGING the doctour to save his wife....He refused.
      She DIED.

So the proper way to handle these doctors is to require them to give a referral to another doctor if they aren't willing to do the procedure. I can get behind them not being forced to perform abortions, or ANY procedure they're not comfortable with. You can't get birth control from catholic hospitals. It's always been that way. When my dad worked for one, he'd just tell his patients where they could get them at low or no cost. He wouldn't have performed an abortion but he would have told his patients there are other doctors that they can work with if they need care he can't provide... And probably also try to convince them to try a different route. He's anti choice, but he's not a complete jerk.

Wade was and it passed due to SC activist fiat and was not in alignment with anything even the most progressive Europe had passed. What's more telling is 3 democratic presidents (Clinton, Obama, and Biden) had the opportunity to codify Roe v Wade into law and did not.
"In a speech Obama gave to Planned Parenthood Action Fund on July 17, 2007, the then-presidential candidate said, “The first thing I’d do as president is sign the Freedom of Choice Act.” He referenced it again in 2008, on the 35th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade."

Forcing women to carry unwanted pregnancies against their will and forcing women to give birth against their will is reproductive slavery.

I want a legislator to propose a bill call the Impregnators Responsibility Bill. All impregnators must pay for the healthcare and prenatal care and birth of the resulting fetus. And the education and healthcare and upbringing of the resulting fetus until the age of 18. It can be proven by DNA. That would be pro life. 😂

Too bad they don't live up to that. There's no hate like Christian Love.

At least they try to have experts working on it. We know the courts and the Congress aren't.

The doctor should get out of being a doctor. make a living doing something else. Obviously, being a doctor goes against what they believe. I say get out .I personally don't want them to touch me. I would rather have someone who is not bias against me, or what I believe 😤

Honestly, they don't even need to stop being a doctor, they can just specialise in areas where this situation doesn't come up, geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopaedics etc.

You can be charged child support for a child that can be legally aborted because it really isn’t alive yet, but it’s only considered alive if someone can fleece you for money for it.

Not till its born. Birth control is not the sole job of the woman. If you wore a rubber or had a vasectomy, nobody could make you pay for a thing. Men are such babies.

I find it funny that they think making something like this illegal will stop it. Gee, that worked when they made alcohol illegal. Hehe.
