Your book has helped me so much love in this world . My greatest joy is painting Nature … trees right now … the ones who I share my land on . As I paint them I don’t see an immobile “thing” but another Being ! Such awesome wonder ! I’ve given away 3 of your books as gifts as they are so wonderful. Thank you for sharing your ancestral gift with me and with the world ❤️🙏✨

I was taught to sew by my grandmother and enjoyed it for years. I stopped creating and sewing pretty much when I tried to go to school for a sewing related craft. It was not for me and I realized how much I hated being forced to create on command.
Sewing and textile crafting is a large part of my ancestry and I would like to find the want to try again some day.

I love your perspective on this and your ancestors message. We often seek heroism and honor and finally feeling apprechiated ... but its the 'small' things. Honoring our self, our gifts, ... acknowledging our path and all the paths that have been walked, for they are the doors for those who have yet to walk them. In many ways, we are our ancestors.

My ancestors passed through North Carolina on the way to Alabama where they settled in the 1700s I was born here in Alabama and I too am tracing my ancestors routes for a moving to North Carolina and visiting there this weekend in the North Asheville area to seek out my new home among my friends and spiritual family that I feel drawn to there

The talent I have been hiding is painting. I love to paint and I love to love. I’m so tired of hiding myself, of protecting myself. I just want to give, I just want to be received. Lol thank you for your insight and encouragement. I wish you all the best.💜💗

Thank you for this profound message, Asia! One of my extraordinary Irish-Canadian aunts just passed away last night as the whole family was praying (some of us were praying over Zoom, and some were in the room with her). The Elders were reciting the rosary of the luminous mysteries, and it was so sad, but beautiful. Today I have been thinking a lot about ancestors, and your message really struck home ♥️

I have a gift for healing that I struggle with based on the “who am I/am I good enough” paradigm. Thank you for those insights. I also have a gift for handwork art, but that just falls by the wayside periodically.
I also want to say that you were wearing an amazing dress. You are very Feminine and that dress highlighted your power.

Thank you for this really special video...I know I have gifts with divination and I feel that my ancestors did too. My mom is adopted and I feel sad not being able to trace my roots back through her lineage, but I feel this pull so strongly to help others with my abilities that I trust there is something there in my ancestral heritage. I am putting it here to set the intention of working with these things as a way of honoring those who came before me.

    • @AsiaSuler
      @AsiaSuler  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I think the deepest truths of our ancestry is what we feel... not necessarily what we know via family trees. You are a direct conduit into your ancestry. You are trusting that inner knowing, and that is so very beautiful.

Thank you for shedding some light. I am a writer as well. I have a way with words. Poetry, philosophy, conveying concepts and ideas. I also have a timing which pertains to the music I make... which I'm working on releasing. This helps. It's a very nice image... to think... more... about why we do it... are doing it... and how important it is, not only to us and our contemporaries, but to all of those who came before us. It's an interesting concept, essentially the opposite of iniquity or trans-generational sin/energy still requiring transmutation. Two sides to every coin. This is beautiful.

My passion has been my art. During this pandemic we converted a shed into my studio and I have literally grown into my art because of this. I come from that generation where I was told to "get a real job" and so I did because I thought I had to. I raised my kids however to follow their passion!!!! In the past ten years I have allowed that art to blossom and this past year will no longer ignore my love and talent of it. I honor my Celtic background and realize how much nature and the outdoors heals me. So my art leans towards nature and conservation of the earth and animals.
Also, I learned from my DNA where I thought I had more Irish than anything in me, I had quite a lot of polish too! This made me so happy because my polish grandmother was my best friend as I grew up. She lived next door to me and we were very close. I feel as I cook and bake I am honoring my ancestors on that side. She was a fabulous cook.
Asia - I just discovered you on Belonging Podcast and thank you for your sharing. I finally have met someone that thinks the way I do. That deep intuition of knowing where I come from, understanding nature and the earth, etc. I am so happy I "fell upon" Becca's podcast with you today!

This is really precious. My day job is what my grandpa used to do as a hobby and I found a passion for it from playing with his gear as a child. Maybe not directly but the message I always got growing up was to make a living doing something you love, so it's very important and empowering to me that I found that from an ancestor and I'm incredibly grateful.

Wow, a timely topic as I've been wrestling with how to honor my grandmother and great grandmother's work as a community healer, seer, psychics. As a child, I knew it would be a challenge to walk in their footsteps, but always felt I should honor them in some way with my own life as a reflection of the goodwill they projected upon their communities.
While I was born with innate psychic gifts, they pale in comparison to levels attained by them. Just when I thought my age had crept up and stole my life purpose from me is when after relocating into rural Western N.C. in the middle of the Appalachian mountains a miracle happened.
I met my neighbors, the Fair Folk, the Fae of North America and like my ancestors have become a seer were honoring my talents as an artist has reached the fruits of maturity in loving memory and dedication to those before me by sharing and giving kindness and goodwill via my gift and talents to other newcomers on the Earth scene and maybe, just maybe can make their lives a bit smoother and empowered than my own. Appreciate the great information and sharing.

I used to be really good at art when I was young, then at school when I left I had a piece of art that I spent hours on and I was too shy to go back to my school and grab that piece of art back, well after that I must have felt deflated, I never went back and got it!
I do a lot of music now and I feel full blown flying into my gift of music but I often wonder what would happen if I put some time into Art.
Thankyou so much for your videos Asia :)
