  • If you need to change a fuse in the mk7 Ford transit van, it’s not easy to know where to look, as there are actually three fuse boxes. One is in the engine bay. The second is behind the glove box. There is, however a THIRD one which is behind that one and it’s not obvious. Here I’ll show you how to access them.

Hi my ford mk7 won't start I have fuel new ignition switch and 2 new batteries and when I try to turn the key the engine turns one time then nothing doesn't start. The dash lights and everything work it's just when I start the engine it only turns over one time then nothing no start. Any suggestions?

@@Asad.Mackie Sounds like a battery connection issue. So, it cranks once? how long after can you crank it again? as it appears the power is being drained on the circuit and then building back up allowing a further cranking. Make sure every connection is cleaned and securely tightened. Have you purged the fuel as well? Even new batteries may need a top up charge, especially if they've been stored for some time. Always charged them for a min of 24hrs or get someone to jump them to boost the output and crank it over. If you're only getting one crank, then you have a power drain problem most likely. Get a multimeter and anything under 12.6v standing charge you got a voltage drain and possibly a short on the circuit, this is clearly indicated when it cranks once and then not again. Use the multimeter with a load test, crank it and see what the drain is and how big of a drop. It will drop to 12.4v at 75% discharge and 11.9v entirely depleted.

@@gazsto I think your starter motor is suspect.
