The Rafe/Danni promise thing at Final 3 is a little interesting to me because as much as Rafe said it was "so Danni wouldn't get flak for voting him out", I always thought he was doing it to try and guilt her into keeping him because "look how nice he is for doing that".
Not related to this video in particular, but: I’ve never watched survivor before, but your videos are honestly so enjoyable that I’ve been binging them over the past week, and considering checking out Survivor just because your videos are fun. Keep up the good work!
Now's the perfect time to start! Paramount+ has all episodes, Amazon Prime and Hulu have pretty solid collections (Hulu has more of the early seasons that OUAI has been covering), Netflix has two seasons.
@@mach1275 imo, u should start from s1 and watch every season in order up to s40. it might seem like a lot of commitment, but trust me it is worth the ride. personally, i skipped s1 altogether and started with s2 (bc it was more entertaining for a new survivor watcher), but it would be better to actually watch the entire thing in order. some people like to watch some seasons and then skip some seasons, but i wouldnt suggest doing that. sorry for the read, hope this helps! if u need any streaming websites for survivor, i can try to help
I like your quote about the winner getting to make up their own narrative or something to that effect. Danni wasn't invisible but she was largely a non-factor in the game and benefitted from the dominant tribe cannibalizing itself prior to eliminating the final members of the minority tribe. Credit to Danni for sucking up to Rafe enough to prevent her exit when Stephenie wanted it, but I find it hard to give credit to skaters. And to quote Judd, Danni skated through this whole thing.

Idk if this is true or not but apparently the reason the men got sick during and after the 11 mile hike was actually because they drank contaminated water or something, there were two jugs one with water and the other with something else and they drank from the wrong one

Am I the only one who wishes the two returning players were Jonathan and Wanda, aka the two who got screwed by a schoolyard pick in Palau? Who would expect the people who were only in one episode? Plus, the thought of them still getting the epic entrance Stephanie and Bobby Jon got, and the Guatamala players watching them but having no idea who they are or why they got a special intro is just hilarious to me.
Gotta be completely honest, just from 'Vanuatu', Julie Berry did not leave any major impression on me beyond her gettin' Sarge to flaunt his white booty cheeks, hahha, but, damn, the girl really did leave her mark on 'Survivor'. Ruined Jeff's appreciation of Chris's game and the season, all together, and here she is poppin' up with 'Guatemala', and I know quite a few other seasons had her floatin' around, too. 😬😹 Brian is one player, Rafe too tbf, that I hate never gotta 'nother chance to play again.. and, that little nugget of knowledge about how they managed to still respect the ruins with carpeting was a good one. The ruins have always been one of my favourite tribe camps, so gorgeous and rich in history.

Guatemala is such an underrated season. I would love for Stephenie to come back. I wish she was in Game Changers. She should’ve won this season and WAW would’ve been so different
