No one watches it because today people claim this movie promotes homophobia and insulting to the gay community that 2 hetero men make a sham out of gay marriage. This generation are hypocrites. They love the Office and Friends, with it's open homophobia as the punchline of a joke but this movie is anti homophobic and they hate it
@40:30 CHUCK BASS, OMG lol. Lance is and was forever my favorite, I cannot believe he was in this movie! Also DAMN, this movie is... wow. All I can say lol. But I love this reaction and I love your guys' channel so much! I showed a couple videos to my mother and she was cracking up, almost in tears. You guys are the best, can't wait to see what's next! :)
I absolutely love this movie! It’s so funny and has a good message at the end I request it all the time to different reactors, so glad you guys reacted to it 😊
Strangely this movie gave me one the sweetest routines with my first kids mom. We got together around the time this movie came out. We watched it on night in my room. After that I came up with a hand signal for us to say “I love you” from a distance. Instead of the heart people hold up with their hands we would hold up a circle. Because...... well the circle represented a love that didn’t stop. Just like Rob Schneider’s character kept saying. 😂 Of course we actually didn’t end up staying together but I am still proud of myself for coming up with that one. 😉👍🏻 Actually how she has acted the past few years, with our son, I think that circle now represents HATE!
Kevin James' character is "Larry Valentine" in this movie. That was his real Fathers middle name and his brother is Gary Valentine (Shown @33:42) who played "Danny" on the TV show "King of Queens".
3:08 Is it the best idea to release a MASSIVE fart in a fire? 8:17 Not only was Tila Tequila one of the Hooters girls, Jamie Chung was too. Dan Patrick who hosts "The Dan Patrick (sports) show" and plays the NY Cop in this movie has a desk plaque that say's "Worlds Greatest Dad". Patrick shows up in several Adam Sandler movies.
I feel like Kevin James is making a come back because I've been seeing him more recently. And I've been rewatching The Kings of Queens and I'm on the last season.
I have always liked this movie, fun reaction. You should check out the Australian film Strange Bedfellows (2004) based on the similar premise, staring Paul Hogan.
I love how this guy don’t give a crap and just lets it go when it comes to laughing 😂like I’ve never heard a dude laugh so genuinely like that. It’s great haha 😂 good for you
Don't forget to watch Grown Ups and Just Go With It as well if ya haven't already. Always great to see Adam bring the same actors into his movies. Kevin did the same with bringing the guy who plays his cousin in King Of Queens, and also his real life brother, to this cast. Fun reaction guys!!
The actor playing the head of court is Richard Chamberlain... He was the heart throb of the 60's 70's and 80's....The Shogun mini series...Dr kildare,,,,The thorn birds...... To keep his place as a heart throb he hid his homosexuality for YEARS......Just a side note...
this movie was awesome, Adam Sandler & Kevin James were quite the dynamic duo in this movie but this movie taught us that the gay community deserves more respect and dignity
Love your channel. you guys choose great movies to react to. Brings me back to my childhood of watching all the Adam Sandler movies in the 2000's. three or four fun movies I would like to see you guys react to that are also underrated are. Accepted its a comedy with the kid from dodgeball as the main character and an early Jonah Hill performance too, and The Internship; its another duo comedy between Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. it would fit great with you guys having watched wedding crashers already. and finally the Harold and Kumar movies the second one is the funnier of the two but both are good.
I heard someone once say everytime you see kevin james in one of these movies its supposed to be chris farely and it changed the way i saw him in movies
Please Please watch "Tropic Thunder" guys. A movie that would never be made now and it has the best performance in comedy cinema by Robert Downey JR and Tom Cruises best role to date. LOVE THAT MOVIE!
A sad fact: One fo the screenwriters of the movie, Alexander Payne, disowned the finished film, saying that Adam Sandler changed too much of his and Jim Taylor's script from a tasteful black comedy with more sincere socio-political commentary on homophobia and gay marriage into something "offensive, homophobic, and generally stupid." He even unsuccessfully attempted to get his name removed from the credits. And the more i learn from the original script, i kinda dislike what we got instead, some examples of the changes: -In the original version, Larry is the one who finds love with Alex, the lawyer defending their case. It was described as "It’s nicely handled and quite emotionally potent to watch this sad man find happiness, even though he’s terrified of what it might do to his case." -Eric, Larry's son, was a teenager and aspiring figure skater who was dealing with his own sexuality, faced bullying over it, and rebelled against his father's fake marriage. -And also had Chuck and Larry kiss on the courthouse steps, in a make out session, described as very intimately. But ngl, the kid doing the splits to punch the bully and then tap-dancing and the bad ass gay guy got a happy ending with the brother of Alex, that was positive gay representation, so wasn't all bad.

Always love that they cast Richard Chamberlain in the movie, who himself is gay and struggled with it in a time where Hollywood weren't as forgiving.
