If NATO gets attacked, Russia is at war with NATO. It is that simple.

Theyd been a nato partner for a long time prior and had it, plus there were aggreememts to assist ukraine in the event of aggression by russia, mostly centered upon them giving up nuclear weapons. Where the grain goes is irrelevant as market prices will fluctuate everywhere as a result of a bunch of it potentially being off the market. Africa will be affected, and ukraine is one of the largest exporters for wheat and corn.
