If your iPhone charging port is failing: take a tooth pick and careful dig out dirt and dust that's stuck in there happened on my iPhone 13 mini after getting majority of the dirt and bs out of the charging port it charges fine
The thing is most apple users are too slow to adapt to android anyway. On top of that they usually are too deep into the apple ecosystem to even consider switching across.

That won’t fix a metal chip getting stuck in there and shorting out the charge port. Yes that is what actually happened.
