My iPad Pro 11 (m4) has been pretty disappointing. It gets hot when gaming, and the battery drains incredibly fast. Overall I wish I’d saved the money and bought a surface pro instead. Just not worth it. iPad OS isn’t there yet.

The overheating issue seems unfotunate, maybe just a bad verson of iPadOS. My 2018 ipad pro is still going strong!

I deleted windows of my laptop and went with Linux mint. Problem solved once I got used to the new setup.

Of course you need to login to an account how are they gonna force you to their paid stuff??. They really want you to use OneDrive. It is infuriating they are really shoving that service down your throat and for the non tech savvy guys they will end up saving most of their stuff on OneDrive without their knowledge. Microsoft is just trying to be the next Apple here by forcing you to switch to Cloud Services. The only advantage pc users get is better ram and ssd sizes out of the box. Microsoft does not have the locked ecosystem advantage that Apple has. It can force you to use their cloud service but system storage will always be an option. Cloud storage is not reliable as they can misplace your data and there is nothing you can do about it. Large corporations don't trust cloud with their data and even we shouldn't.

One update actually caused my high spec PC to go into a boot loop. 🤬Thank God for AOMEI and a recovery thumb drive. Windows is getting progressively worse with each OS version.

I noticed that Windows 10 and 11 seem to have memory corruptions built into them...One time I copied some files from my usb drive to my hard drive and sure enough, it got stuck in deletion memory...I deleted it in XP, said to myself, "I'm good to go now", not so fast...Windows 10 still showed them in my usb drive...Another time I transferred a file onto my Windows 11 hard drive...Bad move, memory corruption destroyed the file system...Had to reinstall the operating system...I never had these problems in XP...

I'm on 10 though, and didn't move to it until 2019, when I moved from a 3570k to a 3700x, basically forced to it. Took years to beat the OS into submission.

7, XP, and 98SE were all great OSs for me. I'm on 10 currently, and it's been generally OK to decent. I've skipped every other Windows OS since 95 (counting 98/98SE as one entry), though. And I am planning on skipping 11 (thank god I didn't get stuck with it). If 12 still has even half the BS that 11 does, I will abandon ship and go to Linux.
