The cast was fantastic, however, the sound technicians let them down. During a solo or duet the singers were insanely loud, however when the cast sang as a large group there were stupidly quiet.
The actress who played Campbell was amazing in this!!! Absolutely in love. She sounds so much like the actress from the Broadway show. Bring It On is one of my favorite musicals, due to my own cheer experiences. One Perfect Moment was the first song I ever soloed for a theatre assignment, so I definitely have a special place for it in my heart. This was an amazing production!!
God, I'd actually kill for a quarter of the funding this got. You either get a lot from the school or fundraise like crazy to get lights like that. I like the inexpensive and practical stuff my school does, but DAAAAAMMNNNN I'd like to have a little flourish here and there
Dreaming Lost Graduate here! We never actually had a huge budget. Our director would occasionally score grants from people (which usually went to things like new lights) but we would fundraise like crazy to get enough money. With that and some really dedicated and talented staff/volunteers/students the company manages to put on a really awesome show every year :)
I recently graduated from a high school that doesn’t have a theatre and has to rent out one for musicals. Our budget has been very, very minimal. To see a production this heavy in everything, it shows how much passion there is for a theatre program. It also shows how fortunate a high school can be with theatre.
Gabi Wojcik that’s amazing still! We are doing this musical at my school, I’m a props techie. It’s by far our hardest show, and most expensive. Really cool and inspiring to see another high school do such a amazing job and beyond. Doesn’t matter there were flaws, every show does. That’s the point, and the audience thinks it’s all in the act.
my high school plans to do this one next year, and I am excited to see how awesome this musical is. I wish to earn the role of Bridget if I get in. Great production!
@@madelynsuppa4755 it's okay. But it has since plagued my memories of this musical for a while that I couldn't find solace in it. I cried a lot because I lost out to people who had experience beyond me.
Freehold Township High School did this 2 years ago and it was amazing! As is this performance I know it is not easy to sing and perform at the same time! this is a really great performance!
32:07 that's me *cough* 21 CHUMP STREET *cough* And 39:26 ill think about it (She'll think about it, think about it, think about it) 21 chump street Anyone else get it?
This was amazing a tip to the middle stunt group from Jackson let go of the flyers feet when they fall so they fall straight down rather then to the side on there head I have no idea if that was planned though so if it was planed don't listen to this
omg this is a high school? you guys are great!! Campbell is literally so good!! im confused though did you guys cut out transitions bc the scenes changed really quickly?
The only transition that we cut out from the show was It Ain't No Thing's reprise because our director thought it was unnecessary (I disagree but again it's their decision so)
Louis Matos oh sorry i meant to clarify like on the video i felt like they cut things out inbetween scenes (idk if that makes any sense) like one second they did a song and the next they were in the bedroom so quickly and it just made it seem like there was a transition but it was just like cut out the video, also i like really love the whole production im like sick td so i stayed home and watched it😂💖
Christopher Graham lol I know this is literally a year late but I just watched this and the videographer definitely edited out the long blackouts. A lot of theater videographers do this - who wants to watch a black screen, ya know? You were definitely right.
Also want to say the cheerleading stunts throughout the musical are TOP NOTCH. 💯 Idk if you hired a cheer coach or a bunch of you have cheer experience, but I was SO impressed!!
Before this, only two members of the cast had done cheerleading. The cheerleading coach came in atleast once a week. Did full cheerleading training in addition to music, choreography and staging. m.th-cam.com/video/4SjKWhyFxj8/w-d-xo.html
This production is so legendary! (Pun intended, hehe 😉) The entire cast was so good and we gotta give props to the crews, director, pit, etc! Wonderful job ❤️💚
Wish my school did good musicals like this. They're doing 'Oliver!' this year, but no one in it is very good because the teachers directing it chose all their favourite students, so the actually talented people all dropped out because of how awful it was.
Jelly bean I feel that I’m doing bring it on and I love dance Gymnastics and cheer but my sister got Campbell and she can’t even do a stratel or leg lift and I can do a backhandspring
I personally think that Eva is one of the hardest roles to portray because she is like a sweet little puppy and a backstabbing bitch at the same time. Im playing Eva in my schools play. Even though Eva is usually played my a female they thought i could do it and im happy to be doing it. The eva in this play helped me to understand the character more and why she did what she did. Thanks. But could i possibly get some pointers for playing Eva? It would help a lot
Cooper Thornburg I go to this school. The Eva in this was only a sophomore for this play. She’s graduating now, but her name is Yna Tresvalles. She was the leading player in Pippin this year and she was phenomenal. So much talent. SO MUCH. And I don’t know her personally, but some of my friends do and from what I can tell she’s so so sweet.
I once herd someone say what if there was a dance dance revolution for broad way and then they said no because or newsies and I was thinking about now hard it would be to do bring it on
“I don’t have any self esteem left!” Honestly same
The cast was fantastic, however, the sound technicians let them down. During a solo or duet the singers were insanely loud, however when the cast sang as a large group there were stupidly quiet.
The recovery from the guy who fell in the middle of the Jackson Nationals Routine is a total mood, also great example of "the show must go on"
Stunning recovery

Thank you so much for the sweet comment and I'm so glad you loved it!
xWoahGabi Do you know where you can find replica uniforms for Bring it on?
Abby Mortensen u mean this is not the OBC
I believe my school rented these out from a fairly local costume shop, but I am not positive!
xWoahGabi They look official to me, I know no costume shops near me selling replica bring it on uniforms
The girl who played Eva literally killed me, she is SOOO good! Loved all her facials and dance moves! So sassy and evil!
this is honestly my favourite version of this musical
I'll second that! (on my 6th or 7th viewing!!)
William Bruce not to be mean but I’m guessing you never say the broadway version of this show
@@matthewmaloney9072 the broadway version is pretty underwhelming tbh, the choreography in it is good though
The girl who played Campbell in this is awesome, almost sounds like the broadway version
She kinda reminds me of the og Eva ( Elle McLemore ) a bit
Honestly, every character was so talented and this overall production was amazing!
Michael Duffy thank you so much for such a sweet comment!
Michael Duffy that's so nice!!!!!!! Thank you :)
Also Killer Instinct was crazy good
your eva killed it!
girl thank you so much!!
15:42 OMG WE'RE ONLY 15 MINUTES IN CALM DOWN WITH THE AMAZING VOCALS
Favorite lines:
'So friend request denied'
That's it
ngl the girl who played Campbell was pretty jacked
I live for the song killer instinct. It is sooooo amazing.

Wow that's one big theater budget
This was absolutely great

Wow it's pretty rare to see a good high school musical
Llama corn a Highschool in my town did ragtime a while ago, lots of controversy but it ended up being really good
Not from where I'm from
RHS did Aita a year ago and it was really good.
Llama corn yeah ikr!
Zacharie Peardon which RHS?repertory high school? MY DREAM SCHOOL! It’s an acting school of course it was good!
okay its adorable when theyre announcing who gets the trophy how danielle and cambell are holding hands
I love this! Especially since I'm a cheerleader myself. Every character worked so well. My favorite character was Eva.. she was so good!!
cheer_bear girl you are so nice thank you so so so much!!!!! :)
kinda like legally blonde + hamilton (only musically) + heathers + rent a little bit???
Lin Manuel Miranda wrote the music for Bring It On!
Jo I. It’s giving me heathers vibes a little bit
i thought the same exact thing
@@ClovisLeonhardt
He only wrote the Jackson songs
.. don’t say no at 1:04:02
How is it possible for 11 people to not like this?
*30
*36
*37 and they mis clicked and didn’t see it
I keep on telling Eleven she cant like things from the upside down....she doesnt listen....
61 *sigh*
Wow this school must have a high musical budget
Maxine McGee we actually don’t! I think we did a substantially larger amount of fundraising last year to cover all of our additional costs!
Gabi Wojcik My school doesn’t even have a stage to do anything.
Gabi Wojcik that’s amazing still! We are doing this musical at my school, I’m a props techie. It’s by far our hardest show, and most expensive. Well they were both written by Lin-Manuel Miranda
Why do 30 people not like this.

am I the only one getting betty cooper vibes from the actress playing Campbell?
If riverdale does bring it on next then I'm going to kill someone
Whos betty Cooper?

I absolutely love the guy who played Twig!
This whole cast was AMAZING!!
HAHAHAHA i love bridget
I'll always keep coming back to this version, the cast is just amazing. Especially Eva - Yna Tresvalles will always be my favourite version of her
This is amazing!!! All the actors are amazing and the singing is incredible!! Also,I got up and screamed for the LOTR reference XD (Yes, I'm a dork)
"Im sorry what?" "WE WERE NEVARRR HEEEEEEERE"
