The girl was enrolled in vocal training. Her stuttering was quickly cured. At the vocal studio, teachers saw her talent. Diana went to many competitions and often won prizes. At the age of three in the middle of Russia's far northern Winter she was abandoned, injured, at a bus stop where she was rescued and sent to an orphanage. At the age of 5 she was still traumatized and unable to speak properly. A massage therapist who visited the orphanage trying to help kids, was the first to recognize something special in this little girl, and eventually adopted her. Diana was sent for singing lessons because it was thought that this might help her learn to speak without impediment.
Only two years later she started singing in local theater, and in street plays and performances. And soon after was entered in a Russian TV music competition for disadvantaged children. By the age of 10 she was winning local competitions, singing on live TV shows, and her songs started showing up on TH-cam. Two months ago, at the age of 18, her first performance during a new Russian television competition with several other renowned performers, has gone viral and has garnered hundreds of TH-cam 'reaction' videos, and millions of viewers.
Her first song at the competition, an entirely new take on Elvis Presley's 'Can't Help Falling in Love with You' has been called mesmerizing, transcendental and other-worldly...it highlights her uniquely deep voice, and effortless range from low to high, along with her trademark dramatic and passionate interpretation. Briefly about Diana: When she was 3 years old, she had a stutter. The doctors advised her to sing more (singing helps with stuttering). The girl was enrolled in vocal training. Her stuttering was quickly cured. At the vocal studio, teachers saw her talent. Diana went to many competitions and often won prizes. At the age of 10-13, Diana had an excellent command of the YODL technique - she sang YODL and danced at the same time. I'm only now seeing your reaction, but I never tire of watching the palette of expressions on the faces of people touched by her artistry. Thank you for this! Mesmerizing, unique and astounding are very apt when describing Diana's voice. I think after all the technical aspects and the professional perfection there's that indescribable part, the magic, that makes some people incredibly special.
