I never own a Roland U220 but I've had 3 U20s. Great little keyboard. Loved the piano and horn sounds. I used it at home with my Yamaha QX3 sequencer and had a lot of fun with the mutli timbral sounds. Love your show! Cheers form my basement studio, the Microcosm in Ballentrae Ontario Canada. 40 minutes north of Toronto.
The U220 was the first multitimbral rack I ever purchased. I got it along with an Alesis MMT-8. It was a great combo. I remember the demos Highlander and U Might Be The One.
dang, haven't thought about the u220 in ages. I remember being impressed with the piano sound when that thing came out and it still holds up quite well, although I kinda wonder if my opinion is tainted by nostalgia. Enjoyed the music you played man....really dug that first thing with the drums.
Wow! coolness! Hopefully I can get back to some serious jams soon! The thing with my wife is crushing my spirit! But as of now she is making a remarkable comeback!
@@leapest Going back to the 90s would be awesone, cuz I'd have all the music in my head that hasn't been written yet and I'd be a millionaire and own all the synths!
hey keith ive been a keyboard player for about 14 years (mostly hammond and keyboard) and i feel that the spark to play is slowly going away my dad plays drums every time we go down stairs into the man cave to make a bit of noise down there, theres no spark inside me to do play i wondered if you've had this problem before?
Sounds like too much STRESS! That's a killer! Look at it this way, You have a God given talent and it will never leave you. Work out the issues and the magic will return. That what works out for me. So I ask that God may bless you and thanks for watching.
Man when you hit the bass on that Juno, 8 minutes into the video that was it for me. Subscribed!!!
