I remember him so well. As a 55 year old American girl, he was part of my childhood and teen viewing on mr belvedere. Thank you so much ❤
What a beautiful and peaceful graveyard. I love the signs for notable grave, what a nice thing to do. I don’t know the gentleman who’s grave you found but his face seems familiar. Well done for finding the extra private graves Paul. Love your work so much ⭐️
I have never heard of this gentleman, but certainly a most full and interesting life. RIP Mr Hewett.
My sentiments entirely...... He obviously did well....over the pond.
He always played his roles really well -- mostly on TV in Amrrica. ❤😂❤😂.
Wow Paul! David Bellamy more like!! You did brilliantly to find where we was buried with his family…..I’m still in awe that you actually thought of looking right into those trees! How many of us would have given up almost from the start of actually searching, but your like a little blood hound bless you!! Well done Paul! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I regret I have never
Ever heard of this gentleman, but sounds like he was a great entertainer and starred more over the pond than in the U.K. but he has obviously made his mark on many many people. Thank you Paul…..that was fascinating. Take care and stay safe! Love and light Helen in❤
I'm yet another person who hadn't heard of Christopher Hewett. A fascinating life. "The Producers" is a masterpiece of bad taste. Brookwood Cemetery looks like an amazing place, deserving of a documentary in its own right.
I loved Mr. Belvedere. His character was wonderfully snarky 😂.
Sorry Paul, I'm in my mid 60's and never heard of him or the series he was in. But as like all your presentations I've learnt a lot. Thanks again Paul for all your hard work. 🙂
Rest in peace Christopher Hewett and his family too!!! 🙏😇👼
I must have watched him on TV...excuse my ignorance but didn't recognise him...its lovely he returned to the UK from America...Thanks again Paul....always appreciate the effort you put in bringing these graves to us..
Thank you for finding Mr Hewetts resting place and giving us an insight into his past. I did not recognise this actors name but never the less interesting. You give people the recognition they deserve , love watching your videos and what an amazing cemetery
Thank you for taking us to visit “Mr. Belvedere”. Find memories of the show ♥️
I agree with you, all are worthy of a mention, wow love the way you found it. such a blessing x
A very beautiful place quaint resting place much thanks 💕😊
Well done Paul, another great video. One of the things I particularly like about your films is that you introduce us to people we had not heard of and yet had seen them in various shows. How often do we watch a film or tv series and think, I’ve seen that actor before but no idea who they are? As always, keep ‘em coming!
Thank you for showing his resting place. I watched him all the time. Love his expressions and great actor. Glad he went home to be placed with his family. Very sweet the spot between the trees. Private, but it would be nice to have a sigh showing the family name outside of the trees. Safe travels. ❣️🙏👣🙌🥰
❤❤Thank you so much for showing the grave of Christopher george hewett. He was a brilliant actor. Who will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. Thank you once again Paul ❤ ❤
Hi Paul, I loved seeing him in shows. He was an amazing actor. Thanks for finding the family resting place. That's a first, hiding between two trees.
Take care and stay safe till next time. ❤
Never heard of him ...but he had a great life 💙 Thanks for posting 😃
Fantastic video again Paul.
You always do a great job. Thanks for that. Take care and see you on the next 😊Greetings from Germany Melinda
Sorry late to watch this but another great watch R.I.P Christopher
Thanks Paul, yes ,i remember him, no one should be forgotten, we are all beautiful.
Yes I do remember him very good at what he did thanks Paul xx
Loved him in Mr Belvedere ❤️
The true English Buttler in Mr Belvedere I really liked that show as kid in the 80's.
I absolutely loved Christopher Hewett. He was a great actor and seemed like such a genuinely good man.
As usual great video loved the trees surrounding the family plot I remember seeing him in fantasy Island hart to hart and murder she wrote brilliant
I'm another who has never heard of Christopher Hewitt, many of his successes were over the pond and didn't get a showing over here. He must have been very talented to have such a career in the US. My interest was really piqued when you mentioned Carroll Gibbons, he was an American but made Britain his home, he was one of the great dance band leaders on the 1930's and 40's. Please return to do an episode on him. I agree it's nice to see the big names but some of these lesser known people where also big names of the past.
I Also have never heard of this gentleman but it seems that relocating to the US was a great move for his career. RIP.
Thank you Paul really enjoyed your video today and thanks for the info on the youtube store. Biggest thanks to Christopher Hewett for all the fun and entertainment he gave us 👋🙂
Amazing what and place R.I.P. and with other family there too! What a lovely video glad it wasn’t raining!
I used to watch Mr Belvedere and many other shows that you named, great actor. RIP
Hi Paul 👋 I remember him on that show I'm 47 he was a Butler Mr. Belvedere, the youngest boy on the show is the same age as I would be. That show was good, ER show that's set in a hospital George Clooney and Anthony. I never watch it. May Christopher Hewett rest easy. Thanks Paul.😊
Can't wait, Paul!
Very cool video. Thanks for all you do Paul!
Another fantastic video Paul thank you for the hard work you do. And long may it continue x
Thank you Paul for telling us about him, as I have never heard of this actor. Very interesting ❤
another beautiful place paul. rip christopher
Sorry to say Christopher isn't a name I knew but now I do.
Once again Paul you've pulled another blinder.
Thank you so much
Paul I have been addicted to your show for a few months now. I love history, but I still say you should put this show on the BBC or something in America.
Thank you 🙏
If I stumbled across that statue at night, it would be a bike clip job!
Great video cheers Paul 👍

Thanks for another great video Paul
And I would like to thank everyone for all your lovely comments,I’m finally on the mend
Thank You Paul for another great video. Christopher was a great actor. I think he was only a few English actors to regularly appear on US tv. Very nice place to be, just hiding.
Loved Mr belvedere and the other show well done
To be honest i have not heard of him I did use to watch hart to hart but only knew the main actors in it
Don’t know who he is , I only really knew main characters including FreeWay the dog , Thanks Paul another fab video in the Unusual Things collection 👍🏻
Hey Paul I must admit didn't remember this one. Always enjoy your videos thank you. Huge hugs xxxxxx🌹🌹🌹
Well done Paul for finding and tidying up the grave. Didn't know this chap, but I always find your video's very enjoyable. Love Sharon xxxxx
Thanks for sharing I found it very interesting looks like a beautiful clean cemetery and I love the little knook where his resting place is so pretty love from West Yorkshire ❤
Brilliant as always Paul and by the way looking good Xx
Thank you for the video,I forgot about this show 💕
Didn't know this actor by name but remember some of the shows he has been in..What a beautiful family plot.
Such a quaint little area for a final resting place. It’s such a lovely cemetery too! I’d never heard of Christopher Hewitt and I’m just a tweak older than you Paul. Thank you for another informative vlog.
Christopher Hewett sounds like one of those actors you recognise but can't name. The Brookwood Cemetery has its own website which tells you about the notable graves. Well worth a look.
I guess this one is unusual as I haven’t heard of him yet recognise some of the programmes you mentioned. His little resting place was really tucked away…good job you did find it 😉👉🌲
Although hadnt heard of this guy what a unique place his final resting place is along side his family . Having previously watched your video of brooklands cemetery it was good to see more , plus I quite like the idea of seeing lesser known final resting places.
Just catching up now sorry missed it last night was busy x
Another great video has always Paul 👍
RIP Christopher Hewitt 💐💐💐💐
Grest actor paul in is time🎉
Brillant video. What an unusual plot.
Same here i have never heard of him either..But having said that, it was Educational to watch and Respect..
Another interesting one , thanks paul
Hi Paul liked the video beautiful cemetery looking forward to the next video 👍🙂👌
hi paul l don't remember him l used to watch fantasy island but he just slips my mind.
Sorry Paul, but I’ve never heard of this man or seen any of his films. You went above and beyond in clearing the grave, thank you for the information 👍
Very interesting very informative Paul 🙏🏻
Another great video paul x
Hi Paul you looked like a Botanist there lol. Hope your well great video has always. 😊
Wow, I've never heard of this guy but I expect a lot of your American viewers will have done. That he made his name in the US but his memorial is over here sort of reminded me a bit of your video about the great Boris Karloff's grave from last year (another Brit who made his name in Hollywood and was cremated only a few miles away from where you filmed this).
It looks forgotten very sad Hope he's got some descendants Paul Great vid Nice place
Thank you Paul, nice vid. You remind me of Shaw tailor (Police 5) when you do that little salute at the end! 👌
That’s going back some years 🤣
Keep em peeled mate 😉
🤣🤣
Never heard of this guy but it was interesting paul. Yea that statue would freak you out 😳
Hi Paul. I thought for a minute you were in the states looking how nice the cemetery is.
Allo Allo, Paulie.
Hope you're doing well this fine day.
No hangovers, eh? Bright eyed today.
If not, well then cheers to ya.
I'm having a little bit of something as I type this while watching your latest episode about Christopher Hewett.
I'm fully aware of the tv show, Mr. Belvedere. But I have not seen one episode of it. The only thing I do believe I seen him in was when he was on Fantasy Island.
Maybe I need to rectify this and watch some movies he was in, and more tv shows as well.
Beautiful cemetery. I'd like to spend awhile there just absorbing the peace and serenity.
Thanks Paul for another dandy.
Happy Father's Day bruv.
-Jerry
Cheers Jerry all good mate… 🙏
Never heard of him! But that may be because I never watched much M.S TV as a kid. I was always out. But I was always allowed to stay up late to watch the Hammer house double bill on a Saturday nights on BBC 2. Classic stuff.
Good morning Paul
lifelong bachelor who did in the USA. Great to see that some family cared enough to repatriate him (even if he'd really made his home over there)
Hey Paul! Good work again….indeed I remember Christopher in American dramas, amazing that he was related to Daniel O‘Connell. Personally I’d like a day in Glasnevin cemetery in Dublin as past Irish Leaders are buried there and Pay my respects to Edward Mulhare from Knight Rider whose buried in St Joseph’s, Cork City. RIP Christopher. ✝️
Yes I remember him when I was a child murder she wrote in no recognise and remember very interesting. Thank you for sharing that you take care. Keep safe all the family drive carefully 😊👍
I remember him in that show been awhile though.
💔💔🙏🙏
Thanks
Thanks Joe 🙏
Hi Paul how are you my friend ? 😊
All good
Hi Paul I have recently found your channel, you do an amazing job I'm watching all of your old videos. I have an idea for a video if you are ever up north bacup Lancashire, it's the murder of Sophie Lancaster, her and her boyfriend were attacked for being goths, such a sad story I'm sure you have heard of it, keep up the good work
Thank you Maria, yes I’m aware of the story and will look into 🙏
Hi Paul another great video could you please do the grave of Ernest Thesiger the Hollywood actor from the Bride of Frankenstein he is buried at Highgate Cemetery in London
Rest in peace 🙏
Hi Paul I've just watched your video it was good erm could you tell me the date of the Liverpool comic con u r going to as I would like to meet u as I'm a fan.
Hi Michelle it’s in October I think the 22nd if you google it, you will see it
Hi Paul don’t know him what in can tell please love channel 😊
would like to see you do a showing of the cast members of are you being served and keeping up appearances
In the early 90s me and a mate went for an explore in the churchyard in the South Warwickshire village of Warmington at night, there was a huge flight of steps up to it on the side as it’s on a hill , we just got to the top and my mate freaked out and said there’s someone stood there and he legged it back down the steep step’s almost breaking his kneck with me close behind, when I went back in the day time it was an angel statue. He was convinced it was a person . We still laugh about it now 👻👻
Hello 👍
💔🙏
Christopher "Mr. Belvedere" Hewett supposedly sat on his own testicles during a script reading for the show. The rumor has two endings...that he yelled so loudly that the light above the table in the room shook or that he was carried out on a stretcher.
"Aaargh! I just Belvedered myself!"
💜👍💜👍
Dont Remember him at all but Iteresting Paul
