One thing I think audiences should realize is that not everyone in this alt-history genre have aligning views. There is a very wide array of opinions.
However, discrediting 2,000 years of multiple cultures’ monumental achievements is inviting some critique, & explanation as to why that is incorrect.
Go read Fingerprints of the Gods, even Graham Hancock stays away from the Maya because (as someone who is very well read) he knows that they are responsible for their own monuments.

Great video Luke. Would you be open to talking to Billy on a podcast so people could see the clash of ideas in real-time (instead of a bunch of response videos)? I think response videos are fine, but I'd much rather see a conversation between two people with opposing views.
I'm glad you're back from the jungle. I hope you had a great time and I look forward to your upcoming videos.

      @garrettmarshall1288 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

Pyramids are the most stable structure. Even children playing with blocks will end up stacking them in a pyramid, after other structural shapes fail. Eventually they will make a pyramid. If all humans are the same, or “equal,” then it follows that no matter where they are in the world they will develop pretty much the same fundamental mechanics; because they all have the same brains and methods of cognition, biologically speaking. And the pyramid don’t perfectly match the ones in Egypt. There are many pyramids and the one thing they mostly have in common ….is that their general shape is a pyramid.

@@OD_30 no one said it was easy. But look at how long it took them to even conceive of how to do it and then actually do it in practice. They had plenty of time to figure it out. But whether it’s easy or not has nothing to do with it happening in different places. The only shape, of that size, they could have made that would last would be pyramids. Insisting that the people living there couldn’t do it, and that it must have been these OTHER people, is no different than claiming that, say, Egyptians couldn’t build the pyramids because it was too advanced and it MUST have been some other advanced peoples before them. Or aliens. Sound familiar? It’s the same racism that the Europeans engaged in when they claimed a magnificent structure must have been built by someone else and not the indigenous peoples of the area. There is zero actual evidence of the claims people are making. It’s all just a thought exercise and is not tied to any physical evidence. They just interpret “the facts” in a way that supports their biases. They use what we don’t know to inject their narratives. They exploit the gaps in archeological and anthropological record and ignore the reams of evidence/data that, in totality, shoot down their woo-woo hypotheses.

We share 98% of our DNA with Chimpanzees, this is true, but what is left out is that we know VERY LITTLE about how DNA works. One would think since we share 98% of our DNA with Chimps, that Proves evolution, but it does not! So, Christianity and Theism is all back on the table. Fact: Macro evolution has NEVER been observed and there is no evidence for it outside of theories. This is a fundamental exercise for anyone seeking the truth. Don't hear a statement and just make a whole bunch of conclusions based on that, because things like faith and science need to be unpackaged. This is true Humans share large portions of their genome with other organisms because of similar basic functions across the animal kingdom. For example, humans share roughly 90% of their DNA with mice, dogs, cattle, and elephants. Well excluding Billy, thats pretty much the Cosmic summit. I mean they are presentations, but there is generally good natured banter and discussion over certian subjects. Not an intimate round table, it has grown to fill convention centers. Overall no one is subject to harsh criticism like you would see in a true debate where emotions get heated and people get defensive, no matter how out there their ideas are. I think its better this way. Your subject matter is of course reviewed and approved for presentation. It has to be relevant, not just any jack or Jill off the street with an alien theory can present.

I whole heartedly enjoy shows like Ancient Aliens and I recently was led to Billy Carson's (Karlson??) philosophies by a friend and thought it, too, mirrored Ancient Aliens. It seems like there are a lot of similarities between what he's selling and Ancient Astronaut Theorists. I've never heard any Ancient Astronaut Theorists reference him so far, or vice versa.
I'm the type of person always looking out for new answers and some semblance of spirituality in a world that has so many religions, there can't be just one correct one. I WANT to believe that we have some sort of higher spirituality and that uncovering our past might reveal what that is.
So I vet people when they make claims based in "fact" and tell you to look everything up. This Billy Carson dude always says "you can look that one up" when he references something he's used to leverage his position.
Anyway, this is my 2nd stop on this vetting process and, to me, you seem rather poised and believable, especially in this relaxed atmosphere.
I believe you made a good decision in changing format. I've never watched another video of yours, but if it was something different than how this video was presented, it might have taken longer to figure you out.
Or is the greatest con the con where the con cons cons and non cons alike through relaxed acting?

    Hey Luke!
Hope this comment sees you well.
As someone who is a huge fan of yourself and Billy Carson, I want to say that you both have been pivotal to my awakening and the subsequent GREAT AWAKENING I see happening all over the world. I want to just give my 2cents here and this isn’t against you or Billy personally by trying to get some dialogue going as I personally quite dislike monologue rants as I believe the superior method of truth seeking (which we are all doing here I firmly believe) is through a live podcast 1-on-1 podcast. I’m gonna assume you have tried to reach out to Billy but if you haven’t then I’d recommend it. We should all be open to ideas and are compelled by the evidence and reasoning for it.
I think there’s some things I personally think Billy does occasionally and that’s something others can call arrogance or even fraudery. I call it ‘getting high on your own supply’ something that can draw in extremely intelligent people and less academically inclined individuals. I don’t think Billy is a grifter, a fraud or a quack. I firmly believe he has arrived at this conclusions from a different starting point that most ancient history researchers. He is self made. He isn’t a scientist per se, but he does do his research. One thing I find extremely split over is his interpretation and use of the Emerald Tablets of Thoth. I have his compendium book here and it’s probably one of the most eye opening things I’ve ever read. It has become apparent to me that Billy firmly is compelled by the Doreal Translation of the Emerald Tablets, texts that we cannot prove even existed and Doreal himself has a sketchy history.
I use this information to set up that when you’re in these consciousness/mindsets where you can get high on your own manifestation of positive energy. I believe Billy has made his mind up with his conclusions, of us. The world. Life. And I think many people agree with him on the grand macro top down picture for ancient civilisations and the philosophy behind it. However, on micro scale he can be loose with your justifications and he holds certain key information on a pedestal that supersedes other information that may compete with it. That may lead him to conclusions that are truth ADJACENT but not necessarily the truth. That being said you guys are both truth seekers and I think the next appropriate conclusion is a debate between you two personally in good faith on Julian Dorey, Danny Jones, Joe Rogan or Matt Beall if he’s down.
I want to also say that I do understand why some people may give up on Billy but I never do. I still listen to him and can discern between which things are truth and truth adjacent but I think his intentions are pure. Matt LaCroix is a great researcher who is basically besties with Billy and he’s just done a podcast with Randall Carlson and I love Matt. So it’s important to remain open to seeing him as an academic opposition but a friend in this great age of disinformation into the great awakening

Those claims give vague discription of events from the times of 12,000 years ago tied to an Atlantian empire wedged between parts of Cuba and the Bahamas but destroyed by meteor showers and mega tsunamis. The ET talked about alternated time line by shifting consciousness and parallel universes it is fascinating stuff to listen to but many of the claims are to hard to verify but yeah I think Carson have been inspired by transcripts and material tied to Bashar. • @Sam_ChristSaves
      @Sam_ChristSaves 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

It's crazy that you actually believe this. Research why these books were left out. They were all written after the Gospels and were considered herretical and Christians even today who have the Holy Spirit in them can discern this. My hope is that you understand who Jesus really was: God. The Gospel of Thomas was not included in the Bible because it contains controversial material that early Christian leaders did not agree with. The Gospel of Thomas was likely written by a member of a gnostic sect in the late second century and contains teachings that are in contradiction to the biblical Gospels and the rest of the New Testament. Some reasons why the Gospel of Thomas was not included in the Bible include:
      Gnostic themes
The Gospel of Thomas contains a gnostic theme of knowledge in place of the traditional sacrament of baptism and Holy Communion. Gnostics tried to make teachings about Jesus mesh with certain philosophical principles that grew in popularity between 100 and 200, but most other ancient Christians rejected these ideas.
      Inauthenticity
Proto-orthodox Christians considered the Gospel of Thomas to be inauthentic and heretical. Eusebius rejected it as a heretical "fiction" in the third century, and Pope Gelasius I included it in his list of heretical books in the fifth century.
      Narrative structure
The Gospel of Thomas doesn't follow a narrative structure like the canonical Gospels and doesn't report major parts of Jesus' life, such as his birth, death, and resurrection. Instead, it contains 114 esoteric sayings of Jesus, purporting to record the secrets Jesus taught to his disciples.
Despite not being in the Bible, many denominations recognize the Gospel of Thomas's importance in understanding Jesus's teachings. It has helped confirm that collections of sayings of Jesus were in circulation in the early church and provides insight into the early life of the church, how it developed, and how different branches of Christianity existed.

@@ericplnc1 Yes historical fact that Jesus was a real person! your reply makes me remember the verse in the Bible that we were made in God's image....Time honored church Christology describes Jesus as both fully human and fully divine. It’s a both/and proposition, not either/or.
Furthermore, it's literally all about the Blood, so definitely, without the Blood of Christ there is no atonement. Lastly,
I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept his claim to be God. That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic - on the level with the man who says he is a poached egg - or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God, but let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to.
      C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity
Who do you say that Jesus is - liar, lunatic or Lord? That is the most important question you will ever answer.
“Who do you say that I am?” Matt 16:13-16, Mark 8:27-29, Luke 9:18-20.

Agreed. I appreciate that Billy encourages people to look further than the mainstream narrative on many issues and he reaches folks who otherwise wouldn't know they need to look further but his ego and him constantly claiming to have all the answers is getting him in trouble fast.
He needs to learn to put some reigns on his ego and his claims to have the end all of facts before he makes himself a complete laughing stock in every serious avenue.
Too many times he starts off by telling people how great and smart he is and claiming theories as facts

@@GreenTea3699 I agree with you on that. He was one of the dudes that got me interested 6 plus yrs ago. But it's become obvious he's a "do as I say not as I do" type of guy. The final nail in the coffin for me was hearing him on a video a 1 1/2-2 yrs ago where he was "complaining" about people saying things about him. He then made the statement to the effect of if black people wronged him he left them alone BUT if "white" people did it he went after them and I quote "to put them in their place". His video was his announcement that he was finally going after a "black" person but he had to add in there what I just told you. I of course called him out on his video and asked him "how does a racist have the ability to teach anyone about love and how to live"???? Crickets. No reply. From that moment on he doesn't exist in my research anymore because if he's willing to look past the facts of his own life I can't trust him to give me "facts" when he speaks. Pride is a bitch.

The ooonly thing worth calling into question are sites that exhibit megalithic architecture with precision or stone size that aren't consistent with the meso/south American technology levels. Even then the simplest answer is that they built them, possibly with the help or guidance of an outside force. Modern archeology just doesn't like to admit that it doesn't make sense how they did it.

Teotihuacan was a winter campsite for the Field Workers who tended to the Tree of Life - Yggdrasil. The Mississippi River and its tributaries. The root ball of the tree was Mesoamerica. It was called the Religion of Thor. Tenochtitlan were thin Hispanics who became the Conquistadors. Tenochtitlan when Indians became too large and Nordic looking. Viking raids when Skraelingr Indians became too thin and unable to work.

But this is where Billy runs into buzz saws when he comes across people like you that ACTUALLY know about the culture and the things that he only has a cursory knowledge of.
And this why people like you are extremely valuable for debates like this. Thank you for taking your valuable time to make this video. I pray that your life is blessed beyond measure brother.

What got my attention about Billy Carson is that in the same video I watched, where he claims to be an astrophysicist, he shows and reads from a book he has written about the emerald tablets. In both the book, and his narration of the book he makes a glaring mistake in calculating 10 x 100 years, equating it to 10,000 years. It was printed in his book, and he read the book online, while showing the printed page. 10 x 100 is 1000, not 10,000. I would hope an "Astrophysicist" could do simple math.
