One of the best parts of the venom storyline in spectacular, is the detail, in each episode Symbiote Spider-Mans logo is growing and the webbing starts fading up until he removes it.
Yeah, I really loved how they did this. As he lost himself more and more, they showed it visually by him losing the webbing too. And I dunno, that's just a super cool touch that I've never seen before or since, but it just adds so much to it.
Haha, you called it on that Spider-Man 2099 figure. Much prefer that shiny blue, shame I don't have it. And we have GOT to get a new Alex Ross Spider-Man. I'd love to see that suit again.
I had that original Spider-Man classics Spider-Man. Came with a wall base and a silver sable comic. Fully agreed, still to this days the absolute best spidey I’ve ever had.
Another fantastic box. Finally I see figures that I also have in a box, lol. I have got to find that Alex Ross Spider-Man. I'm a huge Alex Ross fan ever since I read the Marvel's & Kingdom Come. It's a dream to one day own a piece of his art. For now, I'll be content with the Spider-Man poster I got from his artbook Marvelocity. I need to frame that. Again, a great video.
Yooo, I was just binging a bunch of these videos (mostly spidey) yesterday and this morning, perfect timing! These videos are so interesting, I didn't know anything about the figures that came out right before Spider-Man classics until I saw them, thanks for the neat history lessons! lol
Fun fact : There is a 3rd version of the spectacular spider man (black suit spider man) where when he just got it all of the webs were there and the front and back logos are the same with the front one being white but the back one being outlined with white but black
those lego figs at the bottom are very rare, theres 2 different lego raimi spideys, you have the 2002 version with the lighter blue. it averages around 80 bucks?
Awesome video! I immediately subscribed with the Spider-Man videos. Just a quick question. I'm a big fan of the J. Michael Strazynski and John Romita Jr run on Spider-Man. What figure do you think best represents Romita Jr's Spidey?
I could never understand how the spider in his back is meant to be that. To, me it´s always looked like a tick. Am I the only one? Also, huge difference between DC and Marvel. Most DC superheroes have logos. And not just the main ones: Firestorm, Captain Atom, Hawkman, The Atom, Huntress, Shazam...heck, even some villains. Meanwhile, that´s not the case with most of Marvel...yet they´ve tried to make them over the years. For instance, how can the Captain America logo is his shield? Doesn´t work. And that´s ok. Each their own.
So , again thanks to your videos. I have been ( when I have the opportunity) revisiting one of my favorite eras of Spider-Man issues 100 to 200 and I have almost finished the journey. There is just something special about the 70’s Spider-Man stories. So many introductions of new characters, and practically every one of his rouge gallery makes an appearance. And a long with the main Amazing Spider-Man title you get the other three runs spectacular and marvel team up with the brief giant size run, are all referenced in the run , so your kind of obligated to read them also( so I did) all of this awesome nostalgia thanks to your great videos. Keep up the great work.
I remember that i had a action figure of the spider man 3 version of the black suit, it was fully articulated and really tiny, like smaller than my finger ( i was 5 when i got it ) and came in a box with the format of the spider logo from ultimate spider man, it was red, and i remember that the spider legs moved, it was about the box was about the size of my palm(wich is pretty big, considering how small the toy was), but i lost it because of how tiny it was, i live in brazil so i dont know if these toys were actually sold in other countrys, and i also remember it was a whole collection with green goblin, venom, sandman and most of the character from the trilogy, i only had the black suit but it would be cool if anyone could help me finding this collection to buy online or anything else
@@CarbonScoring thanks for helping me out, if you find anything you think it might be the figure pls tell me or send me the link, but again thanks for the help 😀
Don't get me wrong I love these mystery box videos and will watch all of them. But can we try to get a box on something rather than Spidey next time? Just a suggestion, not tryna be mean
Yep. I'm running out of Spidey boxes. I have a bunch of X-Men boxes coming up. But as a still growing channel, these get more views than anything else...
One of the best parts of the venom storyline in spectacular, is the detail, in each episode Symbiote Spider-Mans logo is growing and the webbing starts fading up until he removes it.
Great pick up - I'm not sure I noticed just how subtle the change was. Damn, that was a good cartoon!
Yeah, I really loved how they did this. As he lost himself more and more, they showed it visually by him losing the webbing too. And I dunno, that's just a super cool touch that I've never seen before or since, but it just adds so much to it.
@@busdriverguy Yep. It was all those little touches that made it such an incredible show

That 2099 fig is perfection!
I had that original Spider-Man classics Spider-Man. Came with a wall base and a silver sable comic. Fully agreed, still to this days the absolute best spidey I’ve ever had.
Great call - couldn’t agree more!
The best vintage figure in my opinion is the Series 1 Spider Man classic Macfarlane Figure. It's so posable and great to pose with! Btw, great video!
I also love, love, love that figure. I could do a whole video on it alone. (hmmmmm - that's an idea...)
@@CarbonScoring Mhm yessir.
This man a expert in these figures
The fact that he has a t pose spider-man lol 😆 🤣!

Heck yeah, baby!!!
The six inch spidey2099 is coool
Thanks - it is super cool!
Hey CS, another cool trip down Spidey memory lane.
Glad to have you along for the ride!
It seems like Tobey Maguire's Spidey suit was partly based on the Alex Ross Spiderman, sepcially the spider logo at the back of his outfit.
I think you are right about that. It was Spidey 2 that Ross did the title screens for, correct?
cant wait for the ultimate spider-man video
Gonna be a good one...
I have that same Doc Ock figure from Spectacular series, the nostalgia!
If you wanna double dip into that nostalgia, check out my video from last week about the first season of Spectacular Spider-Man!
@@CarbonScoring Sure thing man, just discovered your channel a last week and been loving the Spidey mystery series, you earned a new sub 👌🏻

I just gotta wonder, how do you think Aunt May feels every time Peter, oh jee, idk like…. GO INTO ANOTHER UNIVERSE OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT!?!?!?
we could do an entire series from Aunt May's point of view....

Huh. Cool - thanks for the info!
Aww man I used to have that spectacular spiderman venom
You finally found the perfect 3.75 inch Spidey :)
The brown spidey was my first marvel legend and for my childhood I named her the “poop spider” cuse I had no idea who she was and she was brown so
Tons of Spidey's indeed
I have alot of that stuff I even have the bendy wolverine that goes with the spider man
That 97 Spidey was from Marvel vs Capcom.
And that earns you a Fun Fact Point!

Yes, I would actually love to do that video! I will certainly put that on the list!
