The Garrett Pro-Pointer AT will always have a special place in my pouch but recently I've been using the ML Pro-Find 35. It's a strong contender to the Garrett products. The ferrous tone indicator is useful for letting me know that i'm about to dig a bent square nail that sounded good on my GPX. Great vid Matt.

Thanks Brad. I’ve got a Pro Find 35 too and I’m going to give it another serious look.

By the way Matt being a dad is the most wonderful thing in the world enjoy every minute Bro treasure the time it will go by so fast. Thank the good lord my kid's were raised and on there own when my accident happened with the drunk driver. But i wish i could go back in time i raised my kid's as a single dad there mother ran off and we never saw her again. But I'm telling you i would love to go back and do it again and again. Having the kids and them being in my life was such a blessing to me. I have grandkids now and man do i love them and they love me. I'm just an old homeless veteran Matt just giving you some advice brother take every minute you can brother.

    Informative, easy to understand video!
Concise presentation and valid simple test.
I learned some stuff. Or... some stuff became clearer to me. I hate those targets you KNEW sounded big and deep but you hoped were coin-sized and moderate depth... and then 10 minutes later you've dug an aluminum can at 14 inches! Knowing these newer pinpointers can pick up a box plate at those distances can give you a real good understanding of why you can dig and dig and dig and the darned pinpointer keeps beeping that it's just a little farther!
Of course, soil maybe cuts some of the distances down on these tests, but it is cool to see how deep these will hit in air tests. Maybe ground-balanced at startup for soil tests they would perform similarly to the air tests.
The only advice I might offer is next time when you test loud beeping devices, during the main testing when the volume of the pinpointer is not important, maybe muffle the sound port in some way (tape, finger, etc.) such that the beeping is not so loud when we adjust volume on our end to hear your voice at a nice volume.
Anyway, good job! Keep it up!!

I can only watch up to the 7-minute mark but I was wondering about on edge. I can also do this test myself and will check back later.

Good job Matt. Once you use a pinpointer you’ll never go back to hunting without one... they save so much time.
