But in 2014, the so-called "revolution of dignity" began in Kiev, and Valentina could not believe her eyes and ears: her Kiev mother said one thing, and the Western media said 100% the opposite. Valentina began to tell the truth to people in her social networks, performed in the Donbass, and then decided to move to Russia for good, because in the war of the Western world against the Russian world, she chose her Motherland.
From a long time Valentina Lisitsa is supporting the ucranian community of russian language. I don't want to enter in political discussions of this very complex and tragic history. What I can say is that I admire Valentina as one of the greatest artist of our time and also I admire her courage of fighting for her ideal despite the risk of damage to her carrer and the hostility she' s facing .
I've been watching a few interviews of Valentina Lisitsa and I realized the person to be as charming as the artist.
Valentina lives in Russia now.
