LIST: 1. Balance glucose levels: start w/ protein 2. Wait 1 hour after waking up to check social media 3. Micro-Journaling: 3 things - I’m grateful for, I’m worried about, what I’m learning 4. Delete unused apps 5. Take 3 deep breaths. 6. Calm nervous system: Slow down 7. Movement Snack: 2 min physical movement 8. Sleep schedule: be predictable
9. Hydration timing: drink water before coffee 10. Stairs over elevator (if able) 11. Limit disposable waste: use reusable things 12. Limit plastic use 13. Try to avoid toxins, specially in household products and feminine products 14. Energy awareness: turn off/on things in the house. Save energy 15. Subscription audit: keep things you have and actually use every week. Let go of the ones you have been paying, but that you’re not using 16. Money minutes: check your finances constantly to look up if everything is okay 17. Make connections: socializing, catch up with friends 18. Difficult conversations: with family and friends. Say “I felt ____ when ____ happened” 19. Task batching: avoid jumping from one task to the other 20. Time blocking: stick to your schedule 21. Deep work mornings: get hard things done in the morning 22. Declutter one thing: doing one day or once in a month 23. Notifications sounds: turn them off so you don’t get distracted 24. Think ahead for future you: get yourself ready for tomorrow (ex: packed your gym stuff the night before) 25. Practice saying no: set boundaries

Hi Maya, just to let you know: the glukose-spike trend is a complete misconception of how glukose is absorbed and used in the body. You don't automatically spike your glukose levels just from eating carbs, and there is no evidence that avoiding carbs or eating your carbs in a specific order in the morning helps balance the blood glukose levels or prevent diabetes. Some carbs are complex and harder to arbsorb (like broccoli and whole grain rice), and so the glukose will be absorbed and released over a longer period of time (and keeping you full for longer). Some carbs are simple (like cane suger or fruit sugar), and will be released very quickly into the bloodstream (causing your glukose to spike). Also vegetables are mostly carbs. So don't worry, you can absolutely eat your broccoli and rice in any order you want. Just maybe don't start your day out with apple juice and a candy bar - you'll be fine.
This is so good to know!! Thank you for sharing 💕 that’s true - not starting our day with foods that are primarily sugar is properly not a great idea but as long as our meals are balanced right?? :)
Let me know which habit you plan to implement 🤗
